J'ai passé, et il n'était plus ; Je l'ai cherché, et il ne s'est plus trouvé.

Empero pasóse, y he aquí no parece; y busquélo, y no fué hallado.

Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.

But he passed away, and behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.
