Salmo de David. NO te impacientes á causa de los malignos, ni tengas envidia de los que hacen iniquidad.
Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.

Pronto se desvanecen como la hierba, y desaparecen como las flores de primavera.
Porque como hierba serán presto cortados, y decaerán como verdor de renuevo.

Pero confía en el Señor. Sé generoso y bueno; entonces vivirás y prosperarás aquí en la tierra.

Encomienda al Señor todo cuanto haces, confía en que él te ayudará a realizarlo, y él lo hará.

Tu inocencia alumbrará como el alba, y tu justicia resplandecerá como el sol de mediodía.
Y exhibirá tu justicia como la luz, y tus derechos como el medio día.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.
Reposa en el Señor; espera con paciencia que él se manifieste. No envidies a los malvados que prosperan o te desesperes por sus perversos planes.
Calla á Jehová, y espera en él: no te alteres con motivo del que prospera en su camino, por el hombre que hace maldades.
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

¡Deja el enojo! Aparta la ira, no envidies a otros; con ello sólo te perjudicas.
Déjate de la ira, y depón el enojo: no te excites en manera alguna á hacer lo malo.
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Porque los malvados serán destruidos, pero los que confían en el Señor heredarán la tierra y vivirán tranquilamente.

Sólo un breve tiempo, y los malvados desaparecerán. Inútilmente los buscarán.

Los que se humillan delante del Señor heredarán la tierra y vivirán tranquilamente.

Los malvados conspiran contra los justos y truenan la boca contra ellos.
Maquina el impío contra el justo, y cruje sobre él sus dientes.
The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.

Pero el Señor se ríe de quienes traman contra los justos, pues sabe que para aquellos viene el día del juicio.

Los malvados apuntan el arma para matar al pobre; están listos para asesinar a los que hacen el bien.
Los impíos desenvainaron espada, y entesaron su arco, para derribar al pobre y al menesteroso, para matar á los de recto proceder.

Pero la espada se les hundirá en su propio corazón y todas sus armas serán destruidas.

Mejor es tener poco y ser justo que poseer mucho y ser malvado.

La fuerza de los malos será quebrantada, pero el Señor toma en sus manos a los justos.
Porque los brazos de los impíos serán quebrados: mas el que sostiene á los justos es Jehová.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.

Día tras día el Señor cuida de los justos, y les concede recompensas eternas.
Conoce Jehová los días de los perfectos: y la heredad de ellos será para siempre.

Cuida de ellos en tiempos de estrechez; aun en la hambruna tendrán suficiente.

Pero los malos perecerán. Los enemigos de Dios se secarán como la hierba, y desaparecerán como el humo.

But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

Los malos piden prestado y no pagan, pero el bueno paga lo que debe y da más.
El impío toma prestado, y no paga; mas el justo tiene misericordia, y da.

Aquellos a quienes el Señor bendice heredarán la tierra, pero los que él maldice perecerán.

Los pasos de los buenos son guiados por el Señor. Él se deleita en cada paso que dan.
Por Jehová son ordenados los pasos del hombre, y aprueba su camino.

Si se tropiezan, no caen, porque el Señor los sostiene con su mano.
Cuando cayere, no quedará postrado; porque Jehová sostiene su mano.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Fui joven y estoy viejo, y en todos mis años jamás vi al justo en la miseria; tampoco he visto a los hijos de los justos pasar hambre.
Mozo fuí, y he envejecido, y no he visto justo desamparado, ni su simiente que mendigue pan.

Por el contrario, los justos pueden ser generosos dando obsequios y préstamos al prójimo, y sus hijos son una bendición.
En todo tiempo tiene misericordia, y presta; y su simiente es para bendición.
He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
All day long he deals graciously, and lends. His offspring is blessed.
De modo que si quieres tener siempre donde vivir, abandona tus costumbres malas y vive en santidad.
Apártate del mal, y haz el bien, y vivirás para siempre.

Porque el Señor ama la justicia y la rectitud. Nunca abandonará a su pueblo. Ellos serán eternamente guardados a salvo; pero los hijos de los que aman la maldad perecerán.

For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Los justos serán firmemente plantados en la tierra, y allí vivirán por siempre.

Los malos espían a los justos en busca de un pretexto para acusarlos y exigir su muerte.
Acecha el impío al justo, y procura matarlo.

Pero el Señor no permitirá que los malvados triunfen, ni dejará que los justos sean condenados cuando sean llevados ante el juez.

No seas impaciente esperando que el Señor se manifieste. Continúa tu marcha firme por su senda, y a su tiempo él te honrará para que heredes la tierra, y verás destruidos a los malvados.
Espera en Jehová, y guarda su camino, y él te ensalzará para heredar la tierra: cuando serán talados los pecadores, lo verás.

Yo mismo he visto que así pasa; he visto al déspota y malvado extenderse como cedro frondoso.

Los malos serán destruidos, y su posteridad truncada.
Mas los transgresores fueron todos á una destruídos: la postrimería de los impíos fué talada.

El Señor salva a los santos. Él es su refugio y salvación en tiempos de tribulación.
Pero la salvación de los justos es de Jehová, y él es su fortaleza en el tiempo de angustia.
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
Él los ayuda y los libra de los lazos de los malvados.
Y Jehová los ayudará, y los librará: y libertarálos de los impíos, y los salvará, por cuanto en él esperaron.
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
The LORD helps them and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.
