Sé, pues, obediente al Señor, y preséntale tus súplicas. No tengas envidia del que hace fortuna en su carrera, del hombre que comete injusticias.
Calla á Jehová, y espera en él: no te alteres con motivo del que prospera en su camino, por el hombre que hace maldades.

Reprime la ira, y depón el furor, no quieras ser émulo en hacer mal.

Pues los que obran mal, serán exterminados; mas los que esperan en el Señor, ésos heredarán la tierra.

Desenvainaron la espada los pecadores; entesaron su arco para derribar al pobre y al desvalido, para asesinar a los hombres de bien.

Más sirve al justo una medianía, que las muchas riquezas al pecador.
Mejor es lo poco del justo, que las riquezas de muchos pecadores.
A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

Porque los brazos de los pecadores serán quebrantados; al paso que el Señor sostiene a los justos.
Porque los brazos de los impíos serán quebrados: mas el que sostiene á los justos es Jehová.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.

Contados tiene el Señor los días de los que viven sin mancilla; y la herencia de éstos será eterna.

No serán confundidos en el tiempo calamitoso; en los días de hambre serán saciados.

Porque perecerán los pecadores; y los enemigos del Señor no bien serán ensalzados a puestos honoríficos, cuando sean abatidos y se desvanezcan como el humo.
Mas los impíos perecerán, y los enemigos de Jehová como la grasa de los carneros serán consumidos: se disiparán como humo.
But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

Si cayere, no se lastimará; pues el Señor pone su mano por debajo.
Cuando cayere, no quedará postrado; porque Jehová sostiene su mano.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for the LORD holds him up with his hand.
Joven fui, y ya soy viejo; mas nunca he visto desamparado al justo, ni a sus hijos mendigando el pan.
Mozo fuí, y he envejecido, y no he visto justo desamparado, ni su simiente que mendigue pan.

Pasa el día ejercitando la misericordia, y dando prestado; y bendita será su descendencia.

Huye, pues, del mal, y haz bien; y vivirás por los siglos de los siglos.

Anda el pecador acechando al justo, y busca cómo podrá quitarle la vida.

Mas el Señor no le abandonará en sus manos, ni le condenará cuando sea juzgado.

Espera en el Señor, y observa su ley; y te ensalzará para que entres a heredar la tierra; cuando hayan perecido los pecadores, lo verás.

La salvación de los justos viene del Señor; y él es su protector en el tiempo de la tribulación.
Pero la salvación de los justos es de Jehová, y él es su fortaleza en el tiempo de angustia.
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
El Señor los ayudará, y los librará, y los sacará de las manos de los pecadores, y los salvará, porque pusieron en él su confianza.
Y Jehová los ayudará, y los librará: y libertarálos de los impíos, y los salvará, por cuanto en él esperaron.
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
The LORD helps them and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.
