Al Músico principal, á Jeduthún: Salmo de David. YO DIJE: Atenderé á mis caminos, para no pecar con mi lengua: guardaré mi boca con freno, en tanto que el impío fuere contra mí.
I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.

Ich habe mir vorgesetzt, ich will mich hüten, daß ich nicht sundige mit meiner Zunge. Ich will meinen Mund zaumen, weil ich mud den Gottlosen so vor mir sehen.
Enmudecí con silencio, calléme aun respecto de lo bueno: y excitóse mi dolor.

Ich bin verstummet und still und schweige der Freuden und mull mein Leid in mich fressen.

Mein Herz ist entbrannt in meinem Leibe, und wenn ich dran gedenke, werde ich entzundet; ich rede mit meiner Zunge.
Hazme saber, Jehová, mi fin, y cuánta sea la medida de mis días; sepa yo cuánto tengo de ser del mundo.
LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.

Aber, HERR, lehre doch mich, daß es ein Ende mit mir haben mud, und mein Leben ein Ziel hat und ich davon mud.
He aquí diste á mis días término corto, y mi edad es como nada delante de ti: ciertamente es completa vanidad todo hombre que vive. (Selah.)
Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.

Ciertamente en tinieblas anda el hombre; ciertamente en vano se inquieta: junta, y no sabe quién lo allegará.

Errette mich von alter meiner Sunde und lad mich nicht den Narren ein Spott werden.
Enmudecí, no abrí mi boca; porque tú lo hiciste.

Ich will schweigen und meinen Mund nicht auftun; du wirst's wohlmachen.
Quita de sobre mí tu plaga; de la guerra de tu mano soy consumido.

Wende deine Plage von mir; denn ich bin verschmachtet von der Strafe deiner Hand.
Con castigos sobre el pecado corriges al hombre, y haces consumirse como de polilla su grandeza: ciertamente vanidad es todo hombre. (Selah.)

Wenn du einen zuchtigest urn der Sunde willen, so wird seine Schdne verzehret wie von Motten. Ach, wie gar nichts sind doch alle Menschen! Sela.
Oye mi oración, oh Jehová, y escucha mi clamor: no calles á mis lágrimas; porque peregrino soy para contigo, y advenedizo, como todos mis padres.
Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

Hore mein Gebet, HERR, und vernimm mein Schreien und schweige nicht uber meinen Tranen; denn ich bin beides, dein Pilgrim und dein Burger, wie alle meine Vater.
