Al Músico principal, á Jeduthún: Salmo de David. YO DIJE: Atenderé á mis caminos, para no pecar con mi lengua: guardaré mi boca con freno, en tanto que el impío fuere contra mí.
I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
I said, “I will watch my ways, so that I don’t sin with my tongue. I will keep my mouth with a bridle while the wicked is before me.”
J’ai dit : Je prendrai garde à mes voies, afin que je ne pèche point par ma langue ; je garderai ma bouche avec une muselière, pendant que le méchant sera devant moi.
Enmudecí con silencio, calléme aun respecto de lo bueno: y excitóse mi dolor.
I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

J’ai été muet sans dire mot, je me suis tu du bien ; mais ma douleur s’est renforcée.
Enardecióse mi corazón dentro de mí; encendióse fuego en mi meditación, y así proferí con mi lengua:
My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue,

Mon coeur s’est échauffé au-dedans de moi, et le feu s’est embrasé en ma méditation ; j’ai parlé de ma langue, disant:
Hazme saber, Jehová, mi fin, y cuánta sea la medida de mis días; sepa yo cuánto tengo de ser del mundo.
LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.
“LORD, show me my end, what is the measure of my days. Let me know how frail I am.
Eternel ! donne-moi à connaître ma fin, et quelle est la mesure de mes jours ; fais que je sache de combien petite durée je suis.
He aquí diste á mis días término corto, y mi edad es como nada delante de ti: ciertamente es completa vanidad todo hombre que vive. (Selah.)
Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
Behold, you have made my days hand widths. My lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely every man stands as a breath.” Selah.
Voilà, tu as réduit mes jours à la mesure de quatre doigts, et le temps de ma vie est devant toi comme un rien ; certainement ce n’est que pure vanité de tout homme, quoiqu’il soit debout. Sélah.
Ciertamente en tinieblas anda el hombre; ciertamente en vano se inquieta: junta, y no sabe quién lo allegará.
Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them.

Certainement l’homme se promène parmi ce qui n’a que de l’apparence ; certainement on s’agite inutilement ; on amasse des biens, et on ne sait point qui les recueillera.
Y ahora, Señor, ¿qué esperaré? Mi esperanza en ti está.

Líbrame de todas mis rebeliones; no me pongas por escarnio del insensato.

Délivre-moi de toutes mes transgressions, et ne permets point que je sois en opprobre à l’insensé.
Enmudecí, no abrí mi boca; porque tú lo hiciste.

Je me suis tu, et je n’ai point ouvert ma bouche, parce que c’est toi qui l’as fait.
Quita de sobre mí tu plaga; de la guerra de tu mano soy consumido.
Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand.
Remove your scourge away from me. I am overcome by the blow of your hand.
Retire de moi la plaie que tu m’as faite ; je suis consumé par la guerre que tu me fais.
Con castigos sobre el pecado corriges al hombre, y haces consumirse como de polilla su grandeza: ciertamente vanidad es todo hombre. (Selah.)
When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.

Aussitôt que tu châties quelqu’un, en le censurant à cause de son iniquité, tu consumes sa beauté comme la teigne ; certainement tout homme est vanité : Sélah.
Oye mi oración, oh Jehová, y escucha mi clamor: no calles á mis lágrimas; porque peregrino soy para contigo, y advenedizo, como todos mis padres.
Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.

Déjame, y tomaré fuerzas, antes que vaya y perezca.
O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more.
