Dichoso el hombre que confía en Yahvé, que no busca a los orgullosos ni a los que se van tras la mentira.
Bienaventurado el hombre que puso á Jehová por su confianza, y no mira á los soberbios, ni á los que declinan á la mentira.
Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Muchas son, Yahvé, mi Dios, las maravillas que tú has hecho, y no es posible enumerar tus planes para con nosotros. Si yo quisiera anunciarlos y hablar de ellos, serían más de los que puedo contar.
Aumentado has tú, oh Jehová Dios mío, tus maravillas; y tus pensamientos para con nosotros, no te los podremos contar: si yo anunciare y hablare de ellos, no pueden ser enarrados.
Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

A ti no te complacen los sacrificios ni las ofrendas; más bien, me has abierto los oídos. No has pedido holocaustos ni ofrendas por el pecado.

Entonces dije: “Aquí estoy; en el rollo del libro está escrito acerca de mí.

Me complace hacer tu voluntad, Dios mío; llevo tu ley en el corazón”.

He proclamado las buenas noticias de tu justicia en la gran asamblea; no he cerrado mis labios, Yahvé, y tú lo sabes muy bien.
Anunciado he justicia en grande congregación: he aquí no detuve mis labios, Jehová, tú lo sabes.
I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Behold, I will not seal my lips, LORD, you know.
No he guardado tu justicia en mi corazón, sino que he declarado tu fidelidad y tu salvación. No le he ocultado a la gran asamblea tu gran amor y tu verdad.

I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

Yahvé, no me niegues tu compasión; que tu gran amor y tu verdad me protejan siempre.

Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

Porque me rodean males innumerables; mis pecados me han alcanzado, y ya ni puedo levantar la vista. Son más que los cabellos de mi cabeza, y el corazón me falla.
Porque me han cercado males hasta no haber cuento: hanme comprendido mis maldades, y no puedo levantar la vista: hanse aumentado más que los cabellos de mi cabeza, y mi corazón me falta.

¡Por favor, Yahvé, ven a librarme! ¡Apresúrate, Yahvé, a socorrerme!

Que queden avergonzados y confundidos los que intentan quitarme la vida; que huyan deshonrados los que se alegran de mi desgracia.
Sean avergonzados y confusos á una los que buscan mi vida para cortarla: vuelvan atrás y avergüéncense los que mi mal desean.
Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.
Que retrocedan aterrados por su propia vergüenza los que se burlan diciéndome: “¡Ajá, ajá!”
Sean asolados en pago de su afrenta los que me dicen: ¡Ea, ea!
Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, “Aha! Aha!”
Pero que se alegren y se regocijen en ti todos los que te buscan; que los que aman tu salvación digan siempre: “¡Yahvé sea exaltado!”
Gócense y alégrense en ti todos los que te buscan; y digan siempre los que aman tu salud: Jehová sea ensalzado.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

En cuanto a mí, soy pobre y estoy necesitado, pero el Señor piensa en mí. Tú eres mi ayuda y mi libertador; ¡Dios mío, no tardes!
Aunque afligido yo y necesitado, Jehová pensará de mí: mi ayuda y mi libertador eres tú; Dios mío, no te tardes.
But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
