1Pacientemente esperé en Jehová, y Él se inclinó a mí, y oyó mi clamor.
2Y me sacó del pozo de la desesperación, del lodo cenagoso; puso mis pies sobre roca, y enderezó mis pasos.
3Puso luego en mi boca cántico nuevo, alabanza a nuestro Dios. Verán esto muchos, y temerán, y confiarán en Jehová.
4Bienaventurado el hombre que pone en Jehová su confianza, y no mira a los soberbios, ni a los que se desvían a la mentira.
5Muchas, oh Jehová mi Dios, son las maravillas que tú has hecho; Y tus pensamientos para con nosotros, no es posible contarlos ante ti; si yo los anunciara y hablara de ellos, no podrían ser enumerados.
6Sacrificio y ofrenda no te agradaron; has abierto mis oídos; holocausto y ofrenda por el pecado no has requerido.
7Entonces dije: He aquí, vengo; en el rollo del libro está escrito de mí:
8El hacer tu voluntad, oh mi Dios, es mi delicia; y tu ley está en medio de mi corazón.
9He predicado justicia en la gran congregación; he aquí no he refrenado mis labios, oh Jehová, tú lo sabes.
10No he encubierto tu justicia dentro de mi corazón: Tu fidelidad y tu salvación he proclamado: No he ocultado tu misericordia y tu verdad a la gran congregación.
11Tú, oh Jehová, no retengas de mí tus misericordias; tu misericordia y tu verdad me guarden siempre.
12Porque me han rodeado males sin número; me han alcanzado mis maldades, y no puedo levantar la vista; son más numerosas que los cabellos de mi cabeza, y mi corazón me falla.
13Quieras, oh Jehová, librarme; Jehová, apresúrate a socorrerme.
14Sean avergonzados y confundidos a una los que buscan mi alma para destruirla; vuelvan atrás y sean avergonzados los que mi mal desean.
15Sean asolados en pago de su afrenta los que me dicen: ¡Ajá, ajá!
16Gócense y alégrense en ti todos los que te buscan; y digan siempre los que aman tu salvación: Magnificado sea Jehová.
17Aunque afligido yo y necesitado, Jehová pensará en mí. Mi ayuda y mi Libertador eres tú; Dios mío, no te tardes.

1Al Músico principal: Salmo de David. RESIGNADAMENTE esperé á Jehová, é inclinóse á mí, y oyó mi clamor.
2E hízome sacar de un lago de miseria, del lodo cenagoso; y puso mis pies sobre peña, y enderezó mis pasos.
3Puso luego en mi boca canción nueva, alabanza á nuestro Dios. Verán esto muchos, y temerán, y esperarán en Jehová.
4Bienaventurado el hombre que puso á Jehová por su confianza, y no mira á los soberbios, ni á los que declinan á la mentira.
5Aumentado has tú, oh Jehová Dios mío, tus maravillas; y tus pensamientos para con nosotros, no te los podremos contar: si yo anunciare y hablare de ellos, no pueden ser enarrados.
6Sacrificio y presente no te agrada; has abierto mis oídos; holocausto y expiación no has demandado.
7Entonces dije: He aquí, vengo; en el envoltorio del libro está escrito de mí:
8El hacer tu voluntad, Dios mío, hame agradado; y tu ley está en medio de mis entrañas.
9Anunciado he justicia en grande congregación: he aquí no detuve mis labios, Jehová, tú lo sabes.
10No encubrí tu justicia dentro de mi corazón: tu verdad y tu salvación he dicho: no oculté tu misericordia y tu verdad en grande concurso.
11Tú, Jehová, no apartes de mí tus misericordias: tu misericordia y tu verdad me guarden siempre.
12Porque me han cercado males hasta no haber cuento: hanme comprendido mis maldades, y no puedo levantar la vista: hanse aumentado más que los cabellos de mi cabeza, y mi corazón me falta.
13Quieras, oh Jehová, librarme; Jehová, apresúrate á socorrerme.
14Sean avergonzados y confusos á una los que buscan mi vida para cortarla: vuelvan atrás y avergüéncense los que mi mal desean.
15Sean asolados en pago de su afrenta los que me dicen: ¡Ea, ea!
16Gócense y alégrense en ti todos los que te buscan; y digan siempre los que aman tu salud: Jehová sea ensalzado.
17Aunque afligido yo y necesitado, Jehová pensará de mí: mi ayuda y mi libertador eres tú; Dios mío, no te tardes.

1I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
4Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
6Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
7Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
9I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
10I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
11Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
12For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
13Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
14Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
15Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
16Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
17But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

1I waited patiently for the LORD. He turned to me, and heard my cry.
2He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.
3He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
4Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, and doesn’t respect the proud, nor such as turn away to lies.
5Many, LORD, my God, are the wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us. They can’t be declared back to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be counted.
6Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.
7Then I said, “Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.
8I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.”
9I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Behold, I will not seal my lips, LORD, you know.
10I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.
11Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, LORD. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.
12For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.
13Be pleased, LORD, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, LORD.
14Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.
15Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, “Aha! Aha!”
16Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let the LORD be exalted!”
17But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don’t delay, my God.
