(040-3) und zog mich aus der Grube des Verderbens, aus dem schmutzigen Schlamm, und stellte meine Füße auf einen Fels, machte meine Schritte gewiß

(040-4) und gab mir ein neues Lied in meinen Mund, ein Lob für unsern Gott; das werden viele sehen und den HERRN fürchten und ihm vertrauen.
Puso luego en mi boca canción nueva, alabanza á nuestro Dios. Verán esto muchos, y temerán, y esperarán en Jehová.

(040-5) Wohl dem Manne, der sein Vertrauen auf den HERRN setzt und sich nicht wendet zu denen, die aufgeblasen sind und gern täuschen.
Bienaventurado el hombre que puso á Jehová por su confianza, y no mira á los soberbios, ni á los que declinan á la mentira.
Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

(040-6) HERR, mein Gott, groß sind die Wunder, die du getan, und die Pläne, die du für uns gemacht; dir ist nichts gleich! Ich wollte sie verkündigen und davon sagen; Aber sie sind nicht zu zählen.
Aumentado has tú, oh Jehová Dios mío, tus maravillas; y tus pensamientos para con nosotros, no te los podremos contar: si yo anunciare y hablare de ellos, no pueden ser enarrados.
Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

(040-7) Opfer und Gaben begehrst du nicht; die Ohren hast du mir aufgetan; Brandopfer und Sündopfer hast du nicht verlangt.
Sacrificio y presente no te agrada; has abierto mis oídos; holocausto y expiación no has demandado.
Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.
(040-8) Da sprach ich: Siehe, ich bin gekommen, in der Buchrolle steht von mir geschrieben;
Entonces dije: He aquí, vengo; en el envoltorio del libro está escrito de mí:
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
Then I said, “Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.
(040-9) deinen Willen zu tun, mein Gott, begehre ich, und dein Gesetz ist in meinem Herzen.
El hacer tu voluntad, Dios mío, hame agradado; y tu ley está en medio de mis entrañas.
I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.”
(040-10) Ich habe Gerechtigkeit als Frohbotschaft verkündigt in der großen Gemeinde; siehe, ich will meine Lippen nicht verschließen, HERR, das weißt du!
Anunciado he justicia en grande congregación: he aquí no detuve mis labios, Jehová, tú lo sabes.
I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Behold, I will not seal my lips, LORD, you know.
(040-11) Deine Gerechtigkeit verbarg ich nicht in meinem Herzen; von deiner Wahrheit und von deinem Heil redete ich; ich verhehlte deine Gnade und Wahrheit der großen Gemeinde nicht.
No encubrí tu justicia dentro de mi corazón: tu verdad y tu salvación he dicho: no oculté tu misericordia y tu verdad en grande concurso.
I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.
(040-12) Du, HERR, wollest dein Herz nicht vor mir verschließen; deine Gnade und Wahrheit mögen mich allezeit behüten!
Tú, Jehová, no apartes de mí tus misericordias: tu misericordia y tu verdad me guarden siempre.
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, LORD. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.
(040-13) Denn es haben mich umringt Übel ohne Zahl, meine Sünden haben mich ergriffen, daß ich nicht sehen kann; sie sind zahlreicher als die Haare meines Hauptes, und mein Mut hat mich verlassen.
Porque me han cercado males hasta no haber cuento: hanme comprendido mis maldades, y no puedo levantar la vista: hanse aumentado más que los cabellos de mi cabeza, y mi corazón me falta.
For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

(040-14) HERR, laß dir's gefallen, mich zu retten; HERR, eile mir zu Hilfe!
Quieras, oh Jehová, librarme; Jehová, apresúrate á socorrerme.
Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

(040-15) Es sollen sich schämen und schamrot werden allzumal, die mir nach dem Leben trachten; es sollen zurückweichen und zuschanden werden, die mein Unglück suchen!
Sean avergonzados y confusos á una los que buscan mi vida para cortarla: vuelvan atrás y avergüéncense los que mi mal desean.
Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.
(040-16) Erstaunen sollen ob ihrer eigenen Schmach, die zu mir sagten: Ha, ha!
Sean asolados en pago de su afrenta los que me dicen: ¡Ea, ea!
Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, “Aha! Aha!”
(040-17) Es sollen fröhlich sein und sich freuen an dir alle, die dich suchen; die dein Heil lieben, sollen immerdar sagen: Der HERR ist groß!
Gócense y alégrense en ti todos los que te buscan; y digan siempre los que aman tu salud: Jehová sea ensalzado.
Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let the LORD be exalted!”
(040-18) Bin ich auch elend und arm, für mich sorgt der Herr. Du bist meine Hilfe und mein Erretter; mein Gott, verziehe nicht!
Aunque afligido yo y necesitado, Jehová pensará de mí: mi ayuda y mi libertador eres tú; Dios mío, no te tardes.
But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don’t delay, my God.
