Bienaventurado aquel que piensa en el necesitado y en el pobre; el Señor le librará en el día aciago.
Al Músico principal: Salmo de David. BIENAVENTURADO el que piensa en el pobre: en el día malo lo librará Jehová.
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Blessed is he who considers the poor. The LORD will deliver him in the day of evil.
Guárdelo el Señor, y confórtelo y hágalo feliz en la tierra, y no lo entregue a discreción de sus enemigos.
Jehová lo guarde, y le dé vida: sea bienaventurado en la tierra, y no lo entregues á la voluntad de sus enemigos.
The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

Consuélelo el Señor cuando se halle postrado en el lecho de su dolor; tú mismo, Señor, lo sostenías en su cama en su enfermedad.
Jehová lo sustentará sobre el lecho del dolor: mullirás toda su cama en su enfermedad.
The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness.
En cuanto a mí dije: Señor, ten lástima de mí; sana mi alma, porque pequé contra ti.
Yo dije: Jehová, ten misericordia de mí; sana mi alma, porque contra ti he pecado.
I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
I said, “LORD, have mercy on me! Heal me, for I have sinned against you.”
Prorrumpían mis enemigos en imprecaciones contra mí: ¿Cuándo morirá éste, decían, y se acabará su memoria?
Mis enemigos dicen mal de mí preguntando: ¿Cuándo morirá, y perecerá su nombre?
Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
My enemies speak evil against me: “When will he die, and his name perish?”
Que si alguno entraba a visitarme, hablaba con mentira, tramando en su corazón iniquidades. Salíase afuera y se confabulaba
Y si venía á verme, hablaba mentira: su corazón se amontonaba iniquidad; y salido fuera, hablábala.
And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
If he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.
con los otros. Susurraban contra mí todos mis enemigos; todos conspiraban para acarrearme males.
Reunidos murmuraban contra mí todos los que me aborrecían: contra mí pensaban mal, diciendo de mí:
All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me.
Sentencia inicua pronunciaron contra mí. Mas, ¿por ventura el que duerme no volverá a levantarse?
Cosa pestilencial de él se ha apoderado; y el que cayó en cama, no volverá á levantarse.
An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
“An evil disease”, they say, “has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more.”
Lo que más es, un hombre con quien vivía yo en dulce paz, de quien yo me fiaba, y que comía de mi pan, ha urdido una gran traición contra mí.
Aun el hombre de mi paz, en quien yo confiaba, el que de mi pan comía, alzó contra mí el calcañar.
Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me.
Pero tú, Señor, ten piedad de mí y levántame, que yo les daré a ellos su merecido.
Mas tú, Jehová, ten misericordia de mí, y hazme levantar, y daréles el pago.
But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
But you, LORD, have mercy on me, and raise me up, that I may repay them.
En esto habré conocido que tú me amas; pues no tendrá mi enemigo que holgarse a costa mía.
En esto habré conocido que te he agradado, que mi enemigo no se holgará de mí.
By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy doesn’t triumph over me.
Porque tú me has tomado bajo tu protección a causa de mi inocencia, y me has puesto en lugar seguro ante tu acatamiento por toda la eternidad.
En cuanto á mí, en mi integridad me has sustentado, y me has hecho estar delante de ti para siempre.
And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and set me in your presence forever.
Bendito sea el Señor Dios de Israel por los siglos de los siglos. ¡Amén! ¡Amén!
