¡Cuán felices son aquellos que cuidan de los pobres! Cuando ellos se encuentren en problemas el Señor los ayudará.
Al Músico principal: Salmo de David. BIENAVENTURADO el que piensa en el pobre: en el día malo lo librará Jehová.
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
Blessed is he who considers the poor. The LORD will deliver him in the day of evil.
El Señor los protegerá y los mantendrá con vida. Vivirán felizmente en la tierra que el Señor les prometió, y no serán entregados en manos de sus enemigos.
Jehová lo guarde, y le dé vida: sea bienaventurado en la tierra, y no lo entregues á la voluntad de sus enemigos.
The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

El Señor cuidará de ellos cuando estén enfermos; los hará recuperarse de su enfermedad.
Jehová lo sustentará sobre el lecho del dolor: mullirás toda su cama en su enfermedad.
The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness.
“Compadécete de mí, Señor”, te pido. “Por favor, sáname, porque he pecado contra ti”.
Yo dije: Jehová, ten misericordia de mí; sana mi alma, porque contra ti he pecado.
I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
I said, “LORD, have mercy on me! Heal me, for I have sinned against you.”
Los que me odian andan diciendo cosas malas en mi contra. Dicen: “¿Cuándo morirá este para que la gente por fin lo olvide?”
Mis enemigos dicen mal de mí preguntando: ¿Cuándo morirá, y perecerá su nombre?
Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
My enemies speak evil against me: “When will he die, and his name perish?”
Vienen a visitarme, pero su simpatía no es sincera. Solo están interesados en las malas noticias, las cuales esparcen por ahí tan rápido como salen de mi casa.
Y si venía á verme, hablaba mentira: su corazón se amontonaba iniquidad; y salido fuera, hablábala.
And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.
If he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.
Todos los que me odian andan murmurando sobre de mi condición, esperando que empeore.
Reunidos murmuraban contra mí todos los que me aborrecían: contra mí pensaban mal, diciendo de mí:
All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me.
“Está maldito con una enfermedad horrible” dicen. “¡Ahora está postrado en cama y nunca se recuperará!”
Cosa pestilencial de él se ha apoderado; y el que cayó en cama, no volverá á levantarse.
An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
“An evil disease”, they say, “has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more.”
Incluso mi mejor amigo, en el que confiaba, el que compartía su comida conmigo, ahora se ha vuelto en mi contra.
Aun el hombre de mi paz, en quien yo confiaba, el que de mi pan comía, alzó contra mí el calcañar.
Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.

Pero tú, Señor, ¡compadécete de mí! ¡Haz que me recupere para que pueda tomar venganza!
Mas tú, Jehová, ten misericordia de mí, y hazme levantar, y daréles el pago.
But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
But you, LORD, have mercy on me, and raise me up, that I may repay them.
Sé que estás feliz conmigo porque no has dejado que mis enemigos ganen y canten victoria en frente de mí.
En esto habré conocido que te he agradado, que mi enemigo no se holgará de mí.
By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy doesn’t triumph over me.
Me ayudarás gracias a mi integridad, me mantendrás en tu presencia para siempre.
En cuanto á mí, en mi integridad me has sustentado, y me has hecho estar delante de ti para siempre.
And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and set me in your presence forever.
Alaben al Señor, el Dios de Israel, ¡Por los siglos de los siglos! ¡Amén y amén!
