Gott, mit unseren Ohren haben wir gehört, unsere Väter haben uns erzählt die Großtat, die du gewirkt hast in ihren Tagen, in den Tagen der Vorzeit.

Tú con tu mano echaste las gentes, y los plantaste á ellos; afligiste los pueblos, y los arrojaste.

How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.

You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.
