Salmos 44
Bíblia Livre
1Ó Deus, com nossos ouvidos ouvimos, nossos pais nos contaram a obra que tu fizeste nos seus dias, nos dias antigos.
2Para plantá-los, expulsaste as nações com a tua própria mão; para fazê-los crescer, afligiste os povos.
3Porque não conquistaram a terra pelas espadas deles, nem o braço deles os salvou; mas sim tua mão direita e o teu braço, e a luz de teu rosto; porque tu os favoreceste.
4Deus, tu és meu Rei; ordena salvações a Jacó.
5Por ti venceremos nossos adversários; por teu nome passaremos por cima dos que se levantam contra nós.
6Porque minha confiança não está em meu arco; nem minha espada me salvará.
7Pois tu nos salvaste de nossos adversários, e envergonhaste aos que nos odeiam.
8Nós exaltamos a Deus o dia todo; e louvaremos o teu nome para sempre. (Selá)
9Mas agora tu tens nos rejeitado e envergonhado; e tu não tens saído junto com nossos exércitos.
10Tu nos fazes fugir do adversário, e aqueles que nos odeiam saqueiam de nós para si.
11Tu nos entregas como ovelhas para serem comidas, e nos espalhas entre as nações.
12Tu vendes a teu povo ao preço de nada, e não aumentas o seu valor.
13Tu nos pões como humilhação por nossos vizinhos; como escárnio e zombaria pelos que estão ao redor de nós.
14Tu nos pões como provérbio de escárnio entre as nações; como balançar de cabeça entre os povos;
15Minha humilhação está o dia todo diante de mim; e a vergonha cobre o meu rosto,
16Pela voz do adversário e do que insulta; por causa do inimigo e do vingador.
17Tudo isto veio sobre nós; porém não nos esquecemos de ti, nem traímos o teu pacto.
18Nosso coração não se voltou para trás, nem nossos passos de desviaram de teu caminho.
19Tu tens nos afligido num lugar de chacais, e nos cobriste com sobra de morte.
20Se tivéssemos esquecido do nome do nosso Deus, e estendido nossas mãos a um outro deus,
21por acaso Deus não o descobriria? Pois ele conhece os segredos do coração.
22Mas por causa de ti somos mortos o dia todo; somos considerados como ovelhas para o matadouro.
23Desperta; por que estás dormindo, Senhor? Acorda, não nos rejeites para sempre.
24Por que escondes tua face, e te esqueces de nossa humilhação e de nossa opressão?
25Pois nossa alma está abatida ao pó; nosso ventre está junto à terra.
26Levanta-te para nosso socorro; e resgata-nos por tua bondade.

1Al Músico principal: de los hijos de Coré: Masquil. OH Dios, con nuestros oídos hemos oído, nuestros padres nos han contado, la obra que hiciste en sus días, en los tiempos antiguos.
2Tú con tu mano echaste las gentes, y los plantaste á ellos; afligiste los pueblos, y los arrojaste.
3Porque no se apoderaron de la tierra por su espada, ni su brazo los libró; sino tu diestra, y tu brazo, y la luz de tu rostro, porque te complaciste en ellos.
4Tú, oh Dios, eres mi rey: manda saludes á Jacob.
5Por medio de ti sacudiremos á nuestros enemigos: en tu nombre atropellaremos á nuestros adversarios.
6Porque no confiaré en mi arco, ni mi espada me salvará.
7Pues tú nos has guardado de nuestros enemigos, y has avergonzado á los que nos aborrecían.
8En Dios nos gloriaremos todo tiempo, y para siempre loaremos tu nombre. (Selah.)
9Empero nos has desechado, y nos has hecho avergonzar; y no sales en nuestros ejércitos.
10Nos hiciste retroceder del enemigo, y saqueáronnos para sí los que nos aborrecían.
11Pusístenos como á ovejas para comida, y esparcístenos entre las gentes.
12Has vendido tu pueblo de balde, y no pujaste en sus precios.
13Pusístenos por vergüenza á nuestros vecinos, por escarnio y por burla á los que nos rodean.
14Pusístenos por proverbio entre las gentes, por movimiento de cabeza en los pueblos.
15Cada día mi vergüenza está delante de mí, y cúbreme la confusión de mi rostro,
16Por la voz del que me vitupera y deshonra, por razón del enemigo y del que se venga.
17Todo esto nos ha venido, y no nos hemos olvidado de ti; y no hemos faltado á tu pacto.
18No se ha vuelto atrás nuestro corazón, ni tampoco se han apartado nuestros pasos de tus caminos.
19Cuando nos quebrantaste en el lugar de los dragones, y nos cubriste con sombra de muerte,
20Si nos hubiésemos olvidado del nombre de nuestro Dios, ó alzado nuestras manos á dios ajeno,
21¿No demandaría Dios esto? porque él conoce los secretos del corazón.
22Empero por tu causa nos matan cada día; somos tenidos como ovejas para el matadero.
23Despierta; ¿por qué duermes, Señor? Despierta, no te alejes para siempre.
24¿Por qué escondes tu rostro, y te olvidas de nuestra aflicción, y de la opresión nuestra?
25Porque nuestra alma está agobiada hasta el polvo: nuestro vientre está pegado con la tierra.
26Levántate para ayudarnos, y redímenos por tu misericordia.

1We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.
2How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
3For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.
4Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
5Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
6For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
7But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.
8In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.
9But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.
10Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
11Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
12Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
13Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
14Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
15My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,
16For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
17All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
18Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;
19Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
20If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;
21Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
22Yea, for thy sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
23Awake, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
24Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
25For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
26Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies’ sake.
World English Bible
1We have heard with our ears, God; our fathers have told us what work you did in their days, in the days of old.
2You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.
3For they didn’t get the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, because you were favorable to them.
4God, you are my King. Command victories for Jacob!
5Through you, we will push down our adversaries. Through your name, we will tread down those who rise up against us.
6For I will not trust in my bow, neither will my sword save me.
7But you have saved us from our adversaries, and have shamed those who hate us.
8In God we have made our boast all day long. We will give thanks to your name forever. Selah.
9But now you rejected us, and brought us to dishonor, and don’t go out with our armies.
10You make us turn back from the adversary. Those who hate us take plunder for themselves.
11You have made us like sheep for food, and have scattered us among the nations.
12You sell your people for nothing, and have gained nothing from their sale.
13You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scoffing and a derision to those who are around us.
14You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples.
15All day long my dishonor is before me, and shame covers my face,
16at the taunt of one who reproaches and verbally abuses, because of the enemy and the avenger.
17All this has come on us, yet we haven’t forgotten you. We haven’t been false to your covenant.
18Our heart has not turned back, neither have our steps strayed from your path,
19though you have crushed us in the haunt of jackals, and covered us with the shadow of death.
20If we have forgotten the name of our God, or spread out our hands to a strange god,
21won’t God search this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart.
22Yes, for your sake we are killed all day long. We are regarded as sheep for the slaughter.
23Wake up! Why do you sleep, Lord? Arise! Don’t reject us forever.
24Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?
25For our soul is bowed down to the dust. Our body clings to the earth.
26Rise up to help us. Redeem us for your loving kindness’ sake.
