Gott, wir haben mit unsern Ohren gehoret, unsere Vater haben uns erzahlet, was du getan hast zu ihren Zeiten vor alters.
Tú con tu mano echaste las gentes, y los plantaste á ellos; afligiste los pueblos, y los arrojaste.
How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.
Du hast mit deiner Hand die Heiden vertrieben, aber sie hast du eingesetzt; du hast die Volker verderbet, aber sie hast du ausgebreitet.
Porque no se apoderaron de la tierra por su espada, ni su brazo los libró; sino tu diestra, y tu brazo, y la luz de tu rostro, porque te complaciste en ellos.
For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

Denn sie haben das Land nicht eingenommen durch ihr Schwert, und ihr Arm half ihnen nicht, sondern deine Rechte, dein Arm und das Licht deines Angesichts; denn du hattest Wohlgefallen an ihnen.
Tú, oh Dios, eres mi rey: manda saludes á Jacob.
Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.

Gott, du bist derselbe mein Konig, der du Jakob Hilfe verheiftest.
Por medio de ti sacudiremos á nuestros enemigos: en tu nombre atropellaremos á nuestros adversarios.
Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
Through you, we will push down our adversaries. Through your name, we will tread down those who rise up against us.
Durch dich wollen wir unsere Feinde zerstoften; in deinem Namen wollen wir untertreten, die sich wider uns setzen.
Porque no confiaré en mi arco, ni mi espada me salvará.

Empero nos has desechado, y nos has hecho avergonzar; y no sales en nuestros ejércitos.
But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.
But now you rejected us, and brought us to dishonor, and don’t go out with our armies.
Warum verstoftest du uns denn nun und lassest uns zuschanden werden und zeuchst nicht aus unter unserm Heer?
Nos hiciste retroceder del enemigo, y saqueáronnos para sí los que nos aborrecían.
Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
You make us turn back from the adversary. Those who hate us take plunder for themselves.
Du lassest uns fliehen vor unserm Feinde, daß uns berauben, die uns hassen.
Pusístenos como á ovejas para comida, y esparcístenos entre las gentes.
Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
You have made us like sheep for food, and have scattered us among the nations.
Du lassest uns auffressen wie Schafe und zerstreuest uns unter die Heiden.
Has vendido tu pueblo de balde, y no pujaste en sus precios.
Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
You sell your people for nothing, and have gained nothing from their sale.
Du verkaufest dein Volk umsonst und nimmst nichts drum.
Pusístenos por vergüenza á nuestros vecinos, por escarnio y por burla á los que nos rodean.
Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scoffing and a derision to those who are around us.
Du machst uns zur Schmach unsern Nachbarn, zum Spott und Hohn denen, die urn uns her sind.
Pusístenos por proverbio entre las gentes, por movimiento de cabeza en los pueblos.
Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples.
Du machst uns zum Beispiel unter den Heiden, und daß die Volker das Haupt uber uns schutteln.
Cada día mi vergüenza está delante de mí, y cúbreme la confusión de mi rostro,
My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,
All day long my dishonor is before me, and shame covers my face,
Taglich ist meine Schmach vor mir, und mein Antlitz ist voller Schande,
Por la voz del que me vitupera y deshonra, por razón del enemigo y del que se venga.
For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.

daß ich die Schander und Lasterer horen und die Feinde und Rachgierigen sehen muft.
Todo esto nos ha venido, y no nos hemos olvidado de ti; y no hemos faltado á tu pacto.
All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
All this has come on us, yet we haven’t forgotten you. We haven’t been false to your covenant.
Dies alles ist uber uns kommen, und haben doch dein nicht vergessen, noch untreulich in deinem Bunde gehandelt;
No se ha vuelto atrás nuestro corazón, ni tampoco se han apartado nuestros pasos de tus caminos.

¿No demandaría Dios esto? porque él conoce los secretos del corazón.

Erwecke dich, HERR, warum schlafst du? Wache auf und verstofte uns nicht so gar!
¿Por qué escondes tu rostro, y te olvidas de nuestra aflicción, y de la opresión nuestra?
Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?
Warum verbirgest du dein Antlitz, vergissest unsers Elends und Dranges?
Porque nuestra alma está agobiada hasta el polvo: nuestro vientre está pegado con la tierra.
For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.

Denn unsere Seele ist gebeuget zur Erde; unser Bauch klebet am Erdboden.
Levántate para ayudarnos, y redímenos por tu misericordia.
Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies’ sake.
