Al Músico principal: de los hijos de Coré: Masquil. OH Dios, con nuestros oídos hemos oído, nuestros padres nos han contado, la obra que hiciste en sus días, en los tiempos antiguos.
We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.

Ô Dieu nous avons ouï de nos oreilles, et nos pères nous ont raconté les exploits que tu as faits en leurs jours, aux jours d’autrefois.
Tú con tu mano echaste las gentes, y los plantaste á ellos; afligiste los pueblos, y los arrojaste.
How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.
Tu as de ta main chassé les nations, et tu as affermi nos pères; tu as affligé les peuples, et tu as fait prospérer nos pères.
Porque no se apoderaron de la tierra por su espada, ni su brazo los libró; sino tu diestra, y tu brazo, y la luz de tu rostro, porque te complaciste en ellos.
For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them.

Car ce n’est point par leur épée qu’ils ont conquis le pays, et ce n’a point été leur bras, qui les a délivrés ; mais ta droite, et ton bras, et la lumière de ta face ; parce que tu les affectionnais.
Tú, oh Dios, eres mi rey: manda saludes á Jacob.
Thou art my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
God, you are my King. Command victories for Jacob!
Ô Dieu ! c’est toi qui es mon Roi, ordonne les délivrances de Jacob.
Por medio de ti sacudiremos á nuestros enemigos: en tu nombre atropellaremos á nuestros adversarios.
Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
Through you, we will push down our adversaries. Through your name, we will tread down those who rise up against us.
Avec toi nous battrons nos adversaires, par ton Nom nous foulerons ceux qui s’élèvent contre nous.
Porque no confiaré en mi arco, ni mi espada me salvará.
For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

Car je ne me confie point en mon arc, et ce ne sera pas mon épée qui me délivrera ;
Pues tú nos has guardado de nuestros enemigos, y has avergonzado á los que nos aborrecían.

Mais tu nous délivreras de nos adversaires, et tu rendras confus ceux qui nous haïssent.

Nous nous glorifierons en Dieu tout le jour, et nous célébrerons à toujours ton Nom. Sélah.
Empero nos has desechado, y nos has hecho avergonzar; y no sales en nuestros ejércitos.
But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.
But now you rejected us, and brought us to dishonor, and don’t go out with our armies.
Mais tu nous as rejetés, et rendus confus, et tu ne sors plus avec nos armées.
Nos hiciste retroceder del enemigo, y saqueáronnos para sí los que nos aborrecían.
Thou makest us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
You make us turn back from the adversary. Those who hate us take plunder for themselves.
Tu nous as fait retourner en arrière de devant l’adversaire, et nos ennemis se sont enrichis de ce qu’ils ont pillé sur nous.
Pusístenos como á ovejas para comida, y esparcístenos entre las gentes.
Thou hast given us like sheep appointed for meat; and hast scattered us among the heathen.
You have made us like sheep for food, and have scattered us among the nations.
Tu nous as livrés comme des brebis destinées à être mangées, et tu nous as dispersés entre les nations.
Has vendido tu pueblo de balde, y no pujaste en sus precios.
Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.
You sell your people for nothing, and have gained nothing from their sale.
Tu as vendu ton peuple pour rien, et tu n’as point fait hausser leur prix.
Pusístenos por vergüenza á nuestros vecinos, por escarnio y por burla á los que nos rodean.
Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scoffing and a derision to those who are around us.
Tu nous as mis en opprobre chez nos voisins, en dérision, et en raillerie auprès de ceux qui habitent autour de nous.
Pusístenos por proverbio entre las gentes, por movimiento de cabeza en los pueblos.
Thou makest us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples.
Tu nous as mis en dicton parmi les nations, et en hochement de tête parmi les peuples.
Cada día mi vergüenza está delante de mí, y cúbreme la confusión de mi rostro,
My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face hath covered me,
All day long my dishonor is before me, and shame covers my face,
Ma confusion est tout le jour devant moi, et la honte de ma face m’a tout couvert.
Por la voz del que me vitupera y deshonra, por razón del enemigo y del que se venga.
For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.

A cause des discours de celui qui nous fait des reproches, et qui nous injurie, et à cause de l’ennemi et du vindicatif.
Todo esto nos ha venido, y no nos hemos olvidado de ti; y no hemos faltado á tu pacto.
All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
All this has come on us, yet we haven’t forgotten you. We haven’t been false to your covenant.
Tout cela nous est arrivé, et cependant nous ne t’avons point oublié, et nous n’avons point faussé ton alliance.
No se ha vuelto atrás nuestro corazón, ni tampoco se han apartado nuestros pasos de tus caminos.
Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;

Notre coeur n’a point reculé en arrière, ni nos pas ne se sont point détournés de tes sentiers ;
Cuando nos quebrantaste en el lugar de los dragones, y nos cubriste con sombra de muerte,
Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.

Si nous eussions oublié le Nom de notre Dieu, et que nous eussions étendu nos mains vers un dieu étranger,
¿No demandaría Dios esto? porque él conoce los secretos del corazón.
Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

¿Por qué escondes tu rostro, y te olvidas de nuestra aflicción, y de la opresión nuestra?
Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression?
Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?
Pourquoi caches-tu ta face, et pourquoi oublies-tu notre affliction et notre oppression ?
Porque nuestra alma está agobiada hasta el polvo: nuestro vientre está pegado con la tierra.
For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth.
For our soul is bowed down to the dust. Our body clings to the earth.
Car notre âme est penchée jusques en la poudre, et notre ventre est attaché contre terre.
Levántate para ayudarnos, y redímenos por tu misericordia.
Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies’ sake.

Lève-toi pour nous secourir, et nous délivre pour l’amour de ta gratuité.
