1Per il Capo de’ musici. Dei figliuoli di Core. Per voci di fanciulle. Canto. Dio è per noi un rifugio ed una forza, un aiuto sempre pronto nelle distrette.
2Perciò noi non temeremo, anche quando fosse sconvolta la terra, quando i monti fossero smossi in seno ai mari,
3quando le acque del mare muggissero e schiumassero, e per il loro gonfiarsi tremassero i monti.
4V’è un fiume, i cui rivi rallegrano la città di Dio, il luogo santo della dimora dell’Altissimo.
5Iddio è nel mezzo di lei; essa non sarà smossa. Iddio la soccorrerà allo schiarire del mattino.
6Le nazioni romoreggiano, i regni si commuovono; egli fa udire la sua voce, la terra si strugge.
7L’Eterno degli eserciti è con noi, l’Iddio di Giacobbe è il nostro alto ricetto. Sela.
8Venite, mirate le opere dell’Eterno, il quale compie sulla terra cose stupende.
9Egli fa cessar le guerre fino all’estremità della terra; rompe gli archi e spezza le lance, arde i carri nel fuoco.
10Fermatevi, ei dice, riconoscete che io sono Dio. Io sarò esaltato fra le nazioni, sarò esaltato sulla terra.
11L’Eterno degli eserciti è con noi; l’Iddio di Giacobbe è il nostro alto ricetto. Sela.

2Por tanto no temeremos aunque la tierra sea removida; aunque se traspasen los montes al corazón de la mar.
3Bramarán, turbaránse sus aguas; temblarán los montes á causa de su braveza. (Selah.)
4Del río sus conductos alegrarán la ciudad de Dios, el santuario de las tiendas del Altísimo.
5Dios está en medio de ella; no será conmovida: Dios la ayudará al clarear la mañana.
6Bramaron las gentes, titubearon los reinos; dió él su voz, derritióse la tierra.
7Jehová de los ejércitos es con nosotros; nuestro refugio es el Dios de Jacob. (Selah.)
8Venid, ved las obras de Jehová, que ha puesto asolamientos en la tierra.
9Que hace cesar las guerras hasta los fines de la tierra: que quiebra el arco, corta la lanza, y quema los carros en el fuego.
10Estad quietos, y conoced que yo soy Dios: ensalzado he de ser entre las gentes, ensalzado seré en la tierra.
11Jehová de los ejércitos es con nosotros; nuestro refugio es el Dios de Jacob. (Selah.)

1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
11The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

2Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;
3though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah.
4There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.
5God is within her. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn.
6The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice and the earth melted.
7The LORD of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8Come, see the LORD’s works, what desolations he has made in the earth.
9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire.
10“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”
