Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:
Hear this, all you peoples. Listen, all you inhabitants of the world,
Out of Sion the loveliness of his beauty.
Así los plebeyos como los nobles, el rico y el pobre juntamente.
Both low and high, rich and poor, together.

God shall come manifestly: our God shall come, and shall not keep silence. A fire shall burn before him: and a mighty tempest shall be round about him.
Mi boca hablará sabiduría; y el pensamiento de mi corazón inteligencia.
My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
My mouth will speak words of wisdom. My heart will utter understanding.
He shall call heaven from above, and the earth, to judge his people.
Acomodaré á ejemplos mi oído: declararé con el arpa mi enigma.
I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
I will incline my ear to a proverb. I will solve my riddle on the harp.
Gather ye together his saints to him: who set his covenant before sacrifices.
¿Por qué he de temer en los días de adversidad, cuando la iniquidad de mis insidiadores me cercare?
Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
Why should I fear in the days of evil, when iniquity at my heels surrounds me?
And the heavens shall declare his justice: for God is judge.
Los que confían en sus haciendas, y en la muchedumbre de sus riquezas se jactan,
They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
Those who trust in their wealth, and boast in the multitude of their riches—
Hear, O my people, and I will speak: O Israel, and I will testify to thee: I am God, thy God.
Ninguno de ellos podrá en manera alguna redimir al hermano, ni dar á Dios su rescate.
None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:

I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices: and thy burnt offerings are always in my sight.

I will not take calves out of thy house: nor he goats out of thy flocks.

For all the beasts of the woods are mine: the cattle on the hills, and the oxen.

I know all the fowls of the air: and with me is the beauty of the field.
En su interior tienen que sus casas serán eternas, y sus habitaciones para generación y generación: llamaron sus tierras de sus nombres.
Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

If I should be hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
Mas el hombre no permanecerá en honra: es semejante á las bestias que perecen.
Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
But man, despite his riches, doesn’t endure. He is like the animals that perish.
Shall I eat the flesh of bullocks? or shall I drink the blood of goats?
Este su camino es su locura: con todo, corren sus descendientes por el dicho de ellos. (Selah.)
This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
This is the destiny of those who are foolish, and of those who approve their sayings. Selah.
Offer to God the sacrifice of praise: and pay thy vows to the most High.
Como rebaños serán puestos en la sepultura; la muerte se cebará en ellos; y los rectos se enseñorearán de ellos por la mañana: y se consumirá su bien parecer en el sepulcro de su morada.
Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
They are appointed as a flock for Sheol. Death shall be their shepherd. The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning. Their beauty shall decay in Sheol, far from their mansion.
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Empero Dios redimirá mi vida del poder de la sepultura, cuando me tomará. (Selah.)
But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

But to the sinner God hath said: Why dost thou declare my justices, and take my covenant in thy mouth?
No temas cuando se enriquece alguno, cuando aumenta la gloria de su casa;
Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
Don’t be afraid when a man is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
Seeing thou hast hated discipline: and hast cast my words behind thee.
Porque en muriendo no llevará nada, ni descenderá tras él su gloria.
For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

If thou didst see a thief thou didst run with him: and with adulterers thou hast been a partaker.
Si bien mientras viviere, dirá dichosa á su alma: y tú serás loado cuando bien te tratares.
Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.

Thy mouth hath abounded with evil, and thy tongue framed deceits.
Entrará á la generación de sus padres: no verán luz para siempre.

Sitting thou didst speak against thy brother, and didst lay a scandal against thy mother's son:
El hombre en honra que no entiende, semejante es á las bestias que perecen.
Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
A man who has riches without understanding, is like the animals that perish.
These things hast thou done, and I was silent. Thou thoughtest unjustly that I should be like to thee: but I will reprove thee, and set before thy face.

Understand these things, you that forget God; lest he snatch you away, and there be none to deliver you.

The sacrifice of praise shall glorify me: and there is the way by which I will shew him the salvation of God.
