(49:3) Both the sons of the low and the sons of the high, rich and needy, altogether.
Así los plebeyos como los nobles, el rico y el pobre juntamente.

(49:4) My mouth shall speak wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
Mi boca hablará sabiduría; y el pensamiento de mi corazón inteligencia.

My mouth will speak words of wisdom. My heart will utter understanding.
(49:5) I will incline my ear to a parable: I will open with the harp my riddle.
Acomodaré á ejemplos mi oído: declararé con el arpa mi enigma.
I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
I will incline my ear to a proverb. I will solve my riddle on the harp.
(49:6) Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my oppressors encompasseth me?
¿Por qué he de temer en los días de adversidad, cuando la iniquidad de mis insidiadores me cercare?
Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
Why should I fear in the days of evil, when iniquity at my heels surrounds me?
(49:7) Of those that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves of the multitude of their riches?
Los que confían en sus haciendas, y en la muchedumbre de sus riquezas se jactan,
They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;

(49:8) No one can in any wise redeem his brother, nor can he give to God redemption money for himself;
Ninguno de ellos podrá en manera alguna redimir al hermano, ni dar á Dios su rescate.
None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give God a ransom for him.
(49:9) For the ransom of their soul is too costly, and it is omitted for ever.
(Porque la redención de su vida es de gran precio, y no se hará jamás;)

For the redemption of their life is costly, no payment is ever enough,
(49:10) And should he still live for ever? not see the pit?
Que viva adelante para siempre, y nunca vea la sepultura.
That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.

(49:11) For he must see that wise men die, that together the fool and the brutish person perish and leave to others their wealth.
Pues se ve que mueren los sabios, así como el insensato y el necio perecen, y dejan á otros sus riquezas.
For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

(49:12) Their inward thought is, that their houses are to be for ever, their dwellingplaces, from generation to generation; they call them by their own names in various countries.
En su interior tienen que sus casas serán eternas, y sus habitaciones para generación y generación: llamaron sus tierras de sus nombres.
Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
Their inward thought is that their houses will endure forever, and their dwelling places to all generations. They name their lands after themselves.
(49:13) Nevertheless man in his splendor endureth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
Mas el hombre no permanecerá en honra: es semejante á las bestias que perecen.
Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.
But man, despite his riches, doesn’t endure. He is like the animals that perish.
(49:14) This is their way, their folly: yet their posterity will take pleasure in their sayings. Selah.
Este su camino es su locura: con todo, corren sus descendientes por el dicho de ellos. (Selah.)
This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
This is the destiny of those who are foolish, and of those who approve their sayings. Selah.
(49:15) Like flocks are they thrust into the nether world; death will feed them; but the upright shall have dominion over them in that morning, and their form wasteth away in the nether world, taken away from their own dwelling.
Como rebaños serán puestos en la sepultura; la muerte se cebará en ellos; y los rectos se enseñorearán de ellos por la mañana: y se consumirá su bien parecer en el sepulcro de su morada.
Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
They are appointed as a flock for Sheol. Death shall be their shepherd. The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning. Their beauty shall decay in Sheol, far from their mansion.
(49:16) But God will redeem my soul from the power of the nether world; for he will take me away. Selah.
Empero Dios redimirá mi vida del poder de la sepultura, cuando me tomará. (Selah.)
But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for he will receive me. Selah.
(49:17) Be not thou afraid when a man becometh rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
No temas cuando se enriquece alguno, cuando aumenta la gloria de su casa;
Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
Don’t be afraid when a man is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
(49:18) For when he dieth he can take nothing away; his glory will not descend after him.
Porque en muriendo no llevará nada, ni descenderá tras él su gloria.
For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
for when he dies he will carry nothing away. His glory won’t descend after him.
(49:19) For though he bless his soul during his life, and men praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself:
Si bien mientras viviere, dirá dichosa á su alma: y tú serás loado cuando bien te tratares.
Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.

(49:20) She shall go to the generation of his fathers, unto eternity will these never see light.
Entrará á la generación de sus padres: no verán luz para siempre.
He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.

(49:21) Man, though in splendor, who understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish. °
El hombre en honra que no entiende, semejante es á las bestias que perecen.
Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.
A man who has riches without understanding, is like the animals that perish.
