Salmo de Asaph. EL Dios de dioses, Jehová, ha hablado, y convocado la tierra desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone.
The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.
Dios resplandece desde Sion, la ciudad bella y perfecta.
De Sión, perfección de hermosura, ha Dios resplandecido.

Nuestro Dios, con rugir de trueno se acerca; todo lo destruye con fuego a su paso, y en torno suyo ruge la tormenta.
Vendrá nuestro Dios, y no callará: fuego consumirá delante de él, y en derredor suyo habrá tempestad grande.
Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.
El cielo y la tierra serán sus testigos cuando él juzgue a su pueblo:
Convocará á los cielos de arriba, y á la tierra, para juzgar á su pueblo.
He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

«Reúnan a mi pueblo: a los que han hecho un pacto conmigo mediante un sacrificio».

El cielo proclama la justicia divina, porque Dios mismo es el juez.

¡Escucha, pueblo mío, que voy a hablar! Estas son mis acusaciones en contra tuya, Israel. ¡Porque yo soy Dios, el Dios tuyo!

Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

No tengo queja alguna por los sacrificios o las ofrendas quemadas que traes a mi altar, pues los traes con regularidad.
No te reprenderé sobre tus sacrificios, ni por tus holocaustos, que delante de mí están siempre.
I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.
Pero no son los toros de tu establo ni las cabras de tu aprisco lo que quiero;
No tomaré de tu casa becerros, ni machos cabríos de tus apriscos.
I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.
pues todos los animales del bosque son míos, y del ganado de mil colinas yo soy dueño.
Porque mía es toda bestia del bosque, y los millares de animales en los collados.
For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.
Cada ave de los montes y todos los animales del campo me pertenecen.
Conozco todas las aves de los montes, y en mi poder están las fieras del campo.
I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.
Si tuviera hambre, no te lo diría; porque mío es el mundo y todo lo que en él hay.
Si yo tuviese hambre, no te lo diría á ti: porque mío es el mundo y su plenitud.
If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

No necesito tus toros de sacrificios ni la sangre de tus machos cabríos.
¿Tengo de comer yo carne de toros, ó de beber sangre de machos cabríos?
Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
Will I eat the meat of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
Lo que quiero de ti es verdadera gratitud a Dios; quiero que cumplas tus promesas al Altísimo.
Sacrifica á Dios alabanza, y paga tus votos al Altísimo.
Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.
Confía en mí en tus tribulaciones para que yo te libre y puedas darme la gloria.
E invócame en el día de la angustia: te libraré, y tú me honrarás.
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
Pero al malvado dice Dios: No recites más las leyes mías y deja de fingir que me obedeces,
Pero al malo dijo Dios: ¿Qué tienes tú que enarrar mis leyes, y que tomar mi pacto en tu boca,
But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
But to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,
pues has rechazado mi disciplina, y menospreciado mis leyes.
Pues que tú aborreces el castigo, y echas á tu espalda mis palabras?
Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?
Ves a un ladrón, y le ayudas y pasas el tiempo en compañía de adúlteros.
Si veías al ladrón, tú corrías con él; y con los adúlteros era tu parte.
When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
Tu boca se llena de perversidades y tu lengua de mentiras.
Tu boca metías en mal, y tu lengua componía engaño.
Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
“You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.
Calumnias a tu hermano, al hijo de tu misma madre.
Tomabas asiento, y hablabas contra tu hermano; contra el hijo de tu madre ponías infamia.
Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.
You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.
Mientras hiciste todo esto, yo guardé silencio; pensaste que nada me importaba, pero ahora llegó el momento de reprenderte, y plantearé la lista de acusaciones contra ti.
Estas cosas hiciste, y yo he callado: pensabas que de cierto sería yo como tú: yo te argüiré, y pondrélas delante de tus ojos.
These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.
Arrepiéntanse todos los que se han olvidado de Dios, antes que los despedace y nadie pueda ayudarlos.
Entended ahora esto, los que os olvidáis de Dios; no sea que arrebate, sin que nadie libre.
Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
“Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.
Pero el que me ofrenda su gratitud, me honra. Los que andan por mis sendas recibirán salvación del Señor.
El que sacrifica alabanza me honrará: y al que ordenare su camino, le mostraré la salud de Dios.
Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”
