The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

A gloriosa luz de Deus brilha no alto de Sião, a cidade de perfeita beleza.

Nosso Deus se aproxima e fala com voz poderosa; à sua frente vai um fogo devorador; à sua volta há uma forte tempestade.
Vendrá nuestro Dios, y no callará: fuego consumirá delante de él, y en derredor suyo habrá tempestad grande.
Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.
Ele chama os céus e a terra como testemunhas no julgamento do seu povo:
Convocará á los cielos de arriba, y á la tierra, para juzgar á su pueblo.
He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

“Reúnam o meu povo, aqueles que tomaram o compromisso de me obedecer, oferecendo um sacrifício no meu altar”.
Juntadme mis santos; los que hicieron conmigo pacto con sacrificio.

O próprio Deus é o juiz, e os céus anunciam que ele é justo.

Ó meu povo, escute bem o que vou falar! Estas são as minhas acusações contra você, Israel; ouça bem porque eu sou o seu Deus!

Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

Não estou irado por causa dos sacrifícios e das ofertas queimadas que vocês trazem diariamente ao meu altar.
No te reprenderé sobre tus sacrificios, ni por tus holocaustos, que delante de mí están siempre.
I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.
Mas novilhos do seu estábulo e bodes dos seus currais não são o que realmente desejo receber de vocês.
No tomaré de tu casa becerros, ni machos cabríos de tus apriscos.
I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

Porque todos os animais das florestas, todo o gado que pasta sobre os montes, são meus!

Se eu tivesse fome, não precisaria pedir coisa alguma a vocês, pois tudo que há no mundo é meu.
Si yo tuviese hambre, no te lo diría á ti: porque mío es el mundo y su plenitud.
If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

Não pensem que preciso da carne dos bois e do sangue dos cabritos que vocês oferecem no altar.
¿Tengo de comer yo carne de toros, ó de beber sangre de machos cabríos?
Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

Ofereçam a Deus em sacrifício um coração cheio de gratidão e cumpram as promessas de obediência que fizeram ao Altíssimo.
Sacrifica á Dios alabanza, y paga tus votos al Altísimo.
Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.
Clamem a mim quando estiverem em dificuldade, e eu os salvarei; e aí vocês me honrarão.
E invócame en el día de la angustia: te libraré, y tú me honrarás.
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
Mas ao perverso Deus diz: De que adianta ficar repetindo as minhas ordens escritas e as minhas promessas,
Pero al malo dijo Dios: ¿Qué tienes tú que enarrar mis leyes, y que tomar mi pacto en tu boca,
But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
But to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,
se no fundo do coração você despreza a minha disciplina e desobedece às minhas palavras?
Pues que tú aborreces el castigo, y echas á tu espalda mis palabras?
Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?
Você sente prazer em ver o ladrão roubar, e se torna seu cúmplice, e anda com adúlteros.
Si veías al ladrón, tú corrías con él; y con los adúlteros era tu parte.
When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
Sua boca está sempre pronta a falar maldade e a sua língua, a espalhar mentiras.
Tu boca metías en mal, y tu lengua componía engaño.
Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
“You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.
Com suas palavras você procura destruir o seu próprio irmão e calunia o filho de sua própria mãe.
Tomabas asiento, y hablabas contra tu hermano; contra el hijo de tu madre ponías infamia.
Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.
You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.
Até agora estive calado, e por isso você pensou que eu não me importava; você pensa que eu sou como você. Mas agora chegou a hora do seu julgamento. Eu lhe mostrarei todos os seus erros.
Estas cosas hiciste, y yo he callado: pensabas que de cierto sería yo como tú: yo te argüiré, y pondrélas delante de tus ojos.
These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.
“Considerem isto, todos vocês que se esquecem de Deus. Caso contrário, eu destruirei cada um de vocês, e ninguém poderá livrá-los.
Entended ahora esto, los que os olvidáis de Dios; no sea que arrebate, sin que nadie libre.
Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
“Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.
Aquele que me traz sua oferta de gratidão está me honrando! Quem se esforça para andar nos meus caminhos receberá a salvação de Deus”.
El que sacrifica alabanza me honrará: y al que ordenare su camino, le mostraré la salud de Dios.
Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”
