1¡El Señor, el Dios todopoderoso, habla! Él convoca a todos en la tierra, desde el este hasta el oeste.
2Dios brilla desde el monte de Sión, perfecto en belleza.
3Nuestro Dios llegará, y no se quedará quieto. Llamas de fuego vienen detrás de él, quemando todo a su alrededor; una feroz tormenta se mueve alrededor de él.
4Invoca a los cielos sobre la tierra para que presencien el juicio de su pueblo.
5“Tráiganme a los que confían en mí, aquellos que cumplieron mi pacto conmigo como sacrificio”.
6Los cielos declaran que sus decisiones están bien, porque Dios mismo es el juez. Selah.
7“Mi pueblo, escuchen lo que tengo para decir. Traigo cargos en su contra, Israel. ¡Yo soy Dios, su Dios!
8No estoy hablando de sacrificios ni de ofrendas quemadas que me ofrecen todo el tiempo.
9No necesito toros de sus graneros ni cabras de sus corrales,
10porque míos son todos los animales del bosque, y el ganado de miles de cerros me pertenece.
11Conozco a cada pájaro de la montaña; todas las cosas vivientes en los campos son mías.
12Si estuviera hambriento, no te lo diría, porque la tierra y todo lo que hay en ella es mío.
13¿Me como yo la carne de los toros y bebo la sangre de las cabras?
14Den ofrendas de agradecimiento a Dios; mantengan las promesas que le hicieron al Altísimo,
15y llámenme cuando estén en problemas. Los rescataré, y me agradecerán”.
16Pero a los malvados Dios les dice, “¿Cuál es el objetivo de repetir mi ley y hacer promesas vacías sobre obedecer mi pacto?
17Odias mi disciplina, y desechas mis palabras.
18Cuando ves a la gente robando los admiras y te asocias con adúlteros.
19Con tu boca dices cosas malas; usas tu lengua para esparcir mentiras.
20Te sientas y comienzas a hablar en contra de tu hermano, calumniando al hijo de tu propia madre.
21Yo me quedo callado cuando haces esas cosas. Tú pensaste que yo era alguien como tú. Pero ahora te confronto, y traigo mis cargos en contra tuya.
22Piensen otra vez, ustedes que menosprecian a Dios, o los haré trizas, y nadie podrá salvarlos.
23Pero aquellos que dan ofrendas de agradecimiento me honran, y a aquellos que siguen el bien les mostraré mi salvación”.

1Salmo de Asaph. EL Dios de dioses, Jehová, ha hablado, y convocado la tierra desde el nacimiento del sol hasta donde se pone.
2De Sión, perfección de hermosura, ha Dios resplandecido.
3Vendrá nuestro Dios, y no callará: fuego consumirá delante de él, y en derredor suyo habrá tempestad grande.
4Convocará á los cielos de arriba, y á la tierra, para juzgar á su pueblo.
5Juntadme mis santos; los que hicieron conmigo pacto con sacrificio.
6Y denunciarán los cielos su justicia; porque Dios es el juez. (Selah.)
7Oye, pueblo mío, y hablaré: escucha, Israel, y testificaré contra ti: yo soy Dios, el Dios tuyo.
8No te reprenderé sobre tus sacrificios, ni por tus holocaustos, que delante de mí están siempre.
9No tomaré de tu casa becerros, ni machos cabríos de tus apriscos.
10Porque mía es toda bestia del bosque, y los millares de animales en los collados.
11Conozco todas las aves de los montes, y en mi poder están las fieras del campo.
12Si yo tuviese hambre, no te lo diría á ti: porque mío es el mundo y su plenitud.
13¿Tengo de comer yo carne de toros, ó de beber sangre de machos cabríos?
14Sacrifica á Dios alabanza, y paga tus votos al Altísimo.
15E invócame en el día de la angustia: te libraré, y tú me honrarás.
16Pero al malo dijo Dios: ¿Qué tienes tú que enarrar mis leyes, y que tomar mi pacto en tu boca,
17Pues que tú aborreces el castigo, y echas á tu espalda mis palabras?
18Si veías al ladrón, tú corrías con él; y con los adúlteros era tu parte.
19Tu boca metías en mal, y tu lengua componía engaño.
20Tomabas asiento, y hablabas contra tu hermano; contra el hijo de tu madre ponías infamia.
21Estas cosas hiciste, y yo he callado: pensabas que de cierto sería yo como tú: yo te argüiré, y pondrélas delante de tus ojos.
22Entended ahora esto, los que os olvidáis de Dios; no sea que arrebate, sin que nadie libre.
23El que sacrifica alabanza me honrará: y al que ordenare su camino, le mostraré la salud de Dios.

1The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
2Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.
3Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
4He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
5Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
7Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.
8I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
9I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.
10For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
11I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
12If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
13Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
14Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:
15And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
16But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
17Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
18When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.
19Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.
20Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.
21These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.
22Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
23Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.
World English Bible
1The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.
2Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.
3Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.
4He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:
5“Gather my saints together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
6The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. Selah.
7“Hear, my people, and I will speak. Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.
8I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.
9I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.
10For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.
11I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.
12If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
13Will I eat the meat of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
14Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.
15Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
16But to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,
17since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?
18When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
19“You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.
20You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.
21You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.
22“Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.
23Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”
