To the chief musician, a psalm of David, (51:2) When Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in unto Bathsheba. (51:3) Be gracious unto me, O God, according to thy kindness: according to the greatness of thy mercies blot out my transgressions.
Al Músico principal: Salmo de David, cuando después que entró á Bathsebah, vino á él Nathán el profeta. TEN piedad de mí, oh Dios, conforme á tu misericordia: conforme á la multitud de tus piedades borra mis rebeliones.
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

(51:4) Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

(51:5) For of my transgressions I have full knowledge; and my sin is before me continually.

(51:6) To thee, thee only, have I sinned, and what is evil in thy eyes have I done:in order that thou mightest be righteous when thou speakest, be justified when thou judgest.
A ti, á ti solo he pecado, y he hecho lo malo delante de tus ojos: porque seas reconocido justo en tu palabra, y tenido por puro en tu juicio.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Against you, and you only, I have sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight, so you may be proved right when you speak, and justified when you judge.
(51:7) Behold, in iniquity was I brought forth; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
He aquí, en maldad he sido formado, y en pecado me concibió mi madre.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Behold, I was born in iniquity. My mother conceived me in sin.
(51:8) Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: therefore do thou cause me to know wisdom in the recesses of the heart.
He aquí, tú amas la verdad en lo íntimo: y en lo secreto me has hecho comprender sabiduría.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts. You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.
(51:9) Cleanse me from sin with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Purifícame con hisopo, y seré limpio: lávame, y seré emblanquecido más que la nieve.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
(51:10) Cause me to hear gladness and joy; that the bones which thou hast crushed may rejoice.
Hazme oir gozo y alegría; y se recrearán los huesos que has abatido.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Let me hear joy and gladness, that the bones which you have broken may rejoice.
(51:11) Hide thy face from my sins, and all my iniquities do thou blot out.
Esconde tu rostro de mis pecados, y borra todas mis maldades.

(51:12) Create unto me a clean heart, O God; and a firm spirit renew thou within me.
Crea en mí, oh Dios, un corazón limpio; y renueva un espíritu recto dentro de mí.

(51:13) Cast me not away from thy presence; and thy holy spirit do not take from me.

Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.
(51:14) Restore unto me the gladness of thy salvation; and with a liberal spirit do thou support me.
Vuélveme el gozo de tu salud; y el espíritu libre me sustente.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.
(51:15) I will teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners shall return unto thee.
Enseñaré á los prevaricadores tus caminos; y los pecadores se convertirán á ti.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners will be converted to you.
(51:16) Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation; that my tongue may sing aloud of thy righteousness.
Líbrame de homicidios, oh Dios, Dios de mi salud: cantará mi lengua tu justicia.
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.
(51:17) O Lord, open thou my lips, and my mouth shall declare thy praise.
Señor, abre mis labios; y publicará mi boca tu alabanza.

(51:18) For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: in burntoffering hast thou no delight.
Porque no quieres tú sacrificio, que yo daría; no quieres holocausto.

For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.
(51:19) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, wilt thou not despise.
Los sacrificios de Dios son el espíritu quebrantado: al corazón contrito y humillado no despreciarás tú, oh Dios.

(51:20) Do good in thy favor unto Zion; build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Haz bien con tu benevolencia á Sión: edifica los muros de Jerusalem.
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Do well in your good pleasure to Zion. Build the walls of Jerusalem.
(51:21) Then wilt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burntoffering and entire offering: then shall bullocks be offered upon thy altar.
Entonces te agradarán los sacrificios de justicia, el holocausto ú ofrenda del todo quemada: entonces ofrecerán sobre tu altar becerros.
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.
Then you will delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, in burnt offerings and in whole burnt offerings. Then they will offer bulls on your altar.
