Dem Vorsänger. Ein Maskil von David, als Doeg, der Edomiter, kam und Saul berichtete und ihm sagte: David ist in das Haus Abimelechs gekommen. Was rühmst du dich des Bösen, du Gewaltiger? Die Güte Gottes währt den ganzen Tag.

Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
