Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
Why do you boast of mischief, mighty man? God’s loving kindness endures continually.

Agravios maquina tu lengua: como navaja amolada hace engaño.

Pourquoi te glorifies-tu de ta méchanceté, tyran? La bonté de Dieu subsiste toujours.
Amaste el mal más que el bien; la mentira más que hablar justicia. (Selah.)
Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.

Ta langue n’invente que malice, Comme un rasoir affilé, fourbe que tu es!
Has amado toda suerte de palabras perniciosas, engañosa lengua.

Tu aimes le mal plutôt que le bien, Le mensonge plutôt que la droiture. — Pause.
Por tanto Dios te derribará para siempre: te asolará y te arrancará de tu morada, y te desarraigará de la tierra de los vivientes. (Selah.)
God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.

Y verán los justos, y temerán; y reiránse de él, diciendo:

Aussi Dieu t’abattra pour toujours, Il te saisira et t’enlèvera de ta tente; Il te déracinera de la terre des vivants. — Pause.
He aquí el hombre que no puso á Dios por su fortaleza, sino que confió en la multitud de sus riquezas, y se mantuvo en su maldad.
Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.

Les justes le verront, et auront de la crainte, Et ils feront de lui le sujet de leurs moqueries:
Mas yo estoy como oliva verde en la casa de Dios: en la misericordia de Dios confío perpetua y eternalmente.
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

Voilà l’homme qui ne prenait point Dieu pour protecteur, Mais qui se confiait en ses grandes richesses, Et qui triomphait dans sa malice!
Te alabaré para siempre por lo que has hecho: y esperaré en tu nombre, porque es bueno, delante de tus santos.
I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
I will give you thanks forever, because you have done it. I will hope in your name, for it is good, in the presence of your saints.
Et moi, je suis dans la maison de Dieu comme un olivier verdoyant, Je me confie dans la bonté de Dieu, éternellement et à jamais.
