Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually.
Why do you boast of mischief, mighty man? God’s loving kindness endures continually.
Hacen planes para ver a la gente sufrir; sus palabras cortan como un rastrillo afilado, ¡Mentirosos!
Agravios maquina tu lengua: como navaja amolada hace engaño.
Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.

Aman el mal más que al bien, y aman decir mentiras más que la verdad. Selah.

Aman las calumnias que destruyen a los demás, ¡Mentirosos!
Has amado toda suerte de palabras perniciosas, engañosa lengua.
Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue.

Pero Dios los derribará con tanta fuerza que nunca más se podrán levantar. Dios los agarrará y los sacará de su tienda. Los expulsará de la tierra de los vivos. Selah.
Por tanto Dios te derribará para siempre: te asolará y te arrancará de tu morada, y te desarraigará de la tierra de los vivientes. (Selah.)
God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah.
God will likewise destroy you forever. He will take you up, and pluck you out of your tent, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah.
Aquellos que hacen el bien verán todo esto. Se asombrarán y se reirán, diciendo:

The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:

“¡Miren lo que les pasa a los que no acuden a Dios en busca de ayuda, sino que confían en su gran riqueza y fortaleza, que solo les traerá destrucción!”
He aquí el hombre que no puso á Dios por su fortaleza, sino que confió en la multitud de sus riquezas, y se mantuvo en su maldad.
Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
“Behold, this is the man who didn’t make God his strength, but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.”
Pero yo soy como un árbol de olivo que crece fuertemente en la casa de Dios. Confiaré en su amor inagotable por siempre y para siempre.
Mas yo estoy como oliva verde en la casa de Dios: en la misericordia de Dios confío perpetua y eternalmente.
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in God’s house. I trust in God’s loving kindness forever and ever.
Te alabaré por siempre, ¡Oh, Dios! Por todo lo que has hecho. En la presencia de tu pueblo, depositaré mi confianza en ti, porque tú eres bueno.
Te alabaré para siempre por lo que has hecho: y esperaré en tu nombre, porque es bueno, delante de tus santos.
I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.
I will give you thanks forever, because you have done it. I will hope in your name, for it is good, in the presence of your saints.
