Poiché degli stranieri si son levati contro a me e de’ violenti cercano l’anima mia. Essi non tengono Iddio presente innanzi a loro. Sela.

Porque extraños se han levantado contra mí, y fuertes buscan mi alma: no han puesto á Dios delante de sí. (Selah.)

For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They haven’t set God before them. Selah.
