To the chief musician on Neginoth, a Maskil of David, (54:2) When the Ziphim came and said to Saul, Behold, David is hiding himself with us. (54:3) O God, by thy name save me, and by thy strength grant me justice.
Al Músico principal: en Neginoth: Masquil de David, cuando vinieron los Zipheos y dijeron á Saúl: ¿No está David escondido en nuestra tierra? OH Dios, sálvame por tu nombre, y con tu poder defiéndeme.
Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
Save me, God, by your name. Vindicate me in your might.
(54:4) O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
Oh Dios, oye mi oración; escucha las razones de mi boca.
Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
Hear my prayer, God. Listen to the words of my mouth.
(54:5) For strangers to goodness are risen up against me, and powerful oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
Porque extraños se han levantado contra mí, y fuertes buscan mi alma: no han puesto á Dios delante de sí. (Selah.)
For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They haven’t set God before them. Selah.
(54:6) Behold, God is a helper unto me: the Lord is among those that uphold my soul.
He aquí, Dios es el que me ayuda; el Señor es con los que sostienen mi vida.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.
(54:7) He will cause the evil to return upon those that regard me with envy: in thy truth cut them off.
El volverá el mal á mis enemigos: córtalos por tu verdad.
He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.
(54:8) I will liberally sacrifice unto thee: I will give thanks unto thy name, O Lord; for it is good.
Voluntariamente sacrificaré á ti; alabaré tu nombre, oh Jehová, porque es bueno.
I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, LORD, for it is good.
(54:9) For out of all distress hath he delivered me: and my eye hath seen its desire on my enemies.
Porque me ha librado de toda angustia, y en mis enemigos vieron mis ojos mi deseo.
For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
For he has delivered me out of all trouble. My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.
