Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.
Save me, God, by your name. Vindicate me in your might.
(054-4) O Gott, höre mein Gebet und nimm zu Ohren die Reden meines Mundes!
Oh Dios, oye mi oración; escucha las razones de mi boca.
Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.
Hear my prayer, God. Listen to the words of my mouth.
(054-5) Denn es haben sich Fremde wider mich erhoben, und Tyrannen trachten mir nach dem Leben; sie haben Gott nicht vor Augen. (Pause.)
Porque extraños se han levantado contra mí, y fuertes buscan mi alma: no han puesto á Dios delante de sí. (Selah.)
For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They haven’t set God before them. Selah.
(054-6) Siehe, Gott ist mein Helfer, der Herr hält es mit denen, die mein Leben erhalten.
He aquí, Dios es el que me ayuda; el Señor es con los que sostienen mi vida.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.
(054-7) Möge meinen Feinden ihre Bosheit vergolten werden; nach deiner Treue vertilge sie!
El volverá el mal á mis enemigos: córtalos por tu verdad.
He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.
He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.
(054-8) Ich will dir opfern aus freiem Trieb, deinen Namen, o HERR, will ich loben, denn er ist gut!
Voluntariamente sacrificaré á ti; alabaré tu nombre, oh Jehová, porque es bueno.
I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, LORD, for it is good.
(054-9) Denn er hat mich errettet aus aller Not, und mein Auge sieht seine Lust an meinen Feinden.
Porque me ha librado de toda angustia, y en mis enemigos vieron mis ojos mi deseo.
For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
For he has delivered me out of all trouble. My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.
