Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.
Listen to my prayer, God. Don’t hide yourself from my supplication.
Attend to me and answer me. I am restless in my lamenting and I groan,
Estáme atento, y respóndeme: clamo en mi oración, y levanto el grito,
Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;

because of the voice of an enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked, because they bring down evil on me, and in anger they hold a grudge against me.
A causa de la voz del enemigo, por la opresión del impío; porque echaron sobre mí iniquidad, y con furor me han amenazado.
Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.

My heart trembles within me, and deathly terrors fall on me.

Confuse, O Lord; divide their speech, because I see violence and strife in the city.
Deshace, oh Señor, divide la lengua de ellos; porque he visto violencia y rencilla en la ciudad.
Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

Day and night they go around it on its walls, and iniquity and trouble are in its midst.
Día y noche la rodean sobre sus muros; é iniquidad y trabajo hay en medio de ella.
Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.
Day and night they prowl around on its walls. Malice and abuse are also within her.
Destruction is within it, and oppression and deceit do not depart from its public square.
Agravios hay en medio de ella, y el fraude y engaño no se apartan de sus plazas.
Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
Destructive forces are within her. Threats and lies don’t depart from her streets.
For it is not an enemy that taunts me, or I could bear it. It is not one who hates me that magnifies himself over me, or I could hide myself from him.
Porque no me afrentó un enemigo, lo cual habría soportado; ni se alzó contra mí el que me aborrecía, porque me hubiera ocultado de él:
For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
For it was not an enemy who insulted me, then I could have endured it. Neither was it he who hated me who raised himself up against me, then I would have hidden myself from him.
But it is you, a man my equal, my friend and confidant.
Mas tú, hombre, al parecer íntimo mío, mi guía, y mi familiar:
But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
But it was you, a man like me, my companion, and my familiar friend.
We who would take sweet counsel together; in the house of God we would walk with the throng.
Que juntos comunicábamos dulcemente los secretos, á la casa de Dios andábamos en compañía.

Let death deceive them. May they descend to Sheol alive, because evil is in their home and ⌞heart⌟.
Condenados sean á muerte, desciendan vivos al infierno: porque maldades hay en su compañía, entre ellos.
Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.
Let death come suddenly on them. Let them go down alive into Sheol. For wickedness is among them, in their dwelling.
As for me, I will call to God, and Yahweh will save me.
Yo á Dios clamaré; y Jehová me salvará.
As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.

⌞Morning, noon and night⌟ I will lament and groan loudly, and he will hear my voice.
Tarde y mañana y á medio día oraré y clamaré; y él oirá mi voz.
Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

He safely redeems my life from the battle against me, because those standing against me are among many.
El ha redimido en paz mi alma de la guerra contra mí; pues fueron contra mí muchos.
He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, although there are many who oppose me.
God will hear and answer them, he who is enthroned from of old, Selah Because they do not change, and they do not fear God.
Dios oirá, y los quebrantará luego, el que desde la antigüedad permanece (Selah); por cuanto no se mudan, ni temen á Dios.
God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
God, who is enthroned forever, will hear and answer them. Selah. They never change and don’t fear God.
He has put forth his hands against ⌞his friends⌟; he has defiled his covenant.

Echa sobre Jehová tu carga, y él te sustentará; no dejará para siempre caído al justo.

But you, O God, you will bring them down to the pit of corruption. The men of bloodshed and deceit will not live half their days, but I will trust you.
Mas tú, oh Dios, harás descender aquéllos al pozo de la sepultura: los hombres sanguinarios y engañadores no demediarán sus días: empero yo confiaré en ti.
But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.
