Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.
Be merciful to me, God, for man wants to swallow me up. All day long, he attacks and oppresses me.
Mis enemigos me quieren devorar todo el día, porque son muchos los que con orgullo luchan contra mí.
Apúranme mis enemigos cada día; porque muchos son los que pelean contra mí, oh Altísimo.
Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.
My enemies want to swallow me up all day long, for they are many who fight proudly against me.
Cuando siento miedo, pongo mi confianza en ti.
En el día que temo, yo en ti confío.
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.
En Dios, cuya palabra alabo, en Dios pongo mi confianza. No tendré miedo. ¿Qué puede hacerme un simple mortal?
En Dios alabaré su palabra: en Dios he confiado, no temeré lo que la carne me hiciere.
In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
Todo el día tuercen mis palabras. Solo piensan en hacerme daño.
Todos los días me contristan mis negocios; contra mí son todos sus pensamientos para mal.
Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.
All day long they twist my words. All their thoughts are against me for evil.
Conspiran y se esconden, vigilando mis pasos; están ansiosos por quitarme la vida.
Reúnense, escóndense, miran ellos atentamente mis pasos, esperando mi vida.
They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
They conspire and lurk, watching my steps. They are eager to take my life.
¿Dejarás que escapen con su maldad? En tu enojo, oh Dios, derriba a las naciones.
¿Escaparán ellos por la iniquidad? Oh Dios, derriba en tu furor los pueblos.
Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.
Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, God.
Tú llevas la cuenta de mis huidas. Recoges mis lágrimas en tu frasco. ¿Acaso no están anotadas en tu libro?
Mis huídas has tú contado: pon mis lágrimas en tu redoma: ¿no están ellas en tu libro?
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
You count my wanderings. You put my tears into your container. Aren’t they in your book?
Mis enemigos retrocederán el día que yo pida ayuda. Yo sé muy bien que Dios está de mi lado.
Serán luego vueltos atrás mis enemigos el día que yo clamare: en esto conozco que Dios es por mí.
When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this: that God is for me.
En Dios, cuya palabra alabo, en Yahvé, cuya palabra alabo,

he puesto mi confianza en Dios. No tendré miedo. ¿Qué puede hacerme el hombre?
En Dios he confiado: no temeré lo que me hará el hombre.
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Tengo promesas que cumplirte, oh Dios. Te presentaré mis ofrendas de gratitud.
Sobre mí, oh Dios, están tus votos: te tributaré alabanzas.
Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
Your vows are on me, God. I will give thank offerings to you.
Porque me has librado de la muerte, y evitaste que mis pies tropezaran, para que yo pueda caminar ante Dios en la luz de los vivos.
Porque has librado mi vida de la muerte, y mis pies de caída, para que ande delante de Dios en la luz de los que viven.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
