Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.
Be merciful to me, God, for man wants to swallow me up. All day long, he attacks and oppresses me.
Meus inimigos tentam me esmagar o dia todo; pois há muitos que, arrogantemente, lutam contra mim.
Apúranme mis enemigos cada día; porque muchos son los que pelean contra mí, oh Altísimo.
Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.
My enemies want to swallow me up all day long, for they are many who fight proudly against me.
Mas quando eu estiver com medo, em Ti confiarei.
En el día que temo, yo en ti confío.

Em Deus, cuja palavra eu louvo, em Deus eu coloquei a minha confiança e não temerei; o que poderia me fazer um simples homem?
En Dios alabaré su palabra: en Dios he confiado, no temeré lo que la carne me hiciere.
In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
O dia todo eles distorcem minhas palavras; todos os seus pensamentos são para fazer o mal contra mim.
Todos los días me contristan mis negocios; contra mí son todos sus pensamientos para mal.
Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.
All day long they twist my words. All their thoughts are against me for evil.
Reúnem-se, escondem-se, e observam os meus passos, esperando para tirar-me a vida.
Reúnense, escóndense, miran ellos atentamente mis pasos, esperando mi vida.
They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
They conspire and lurk, watching my steps. They are eager to take my life.
Não deixes escapar esses que praticam iniquidade. Derruba os povos na Tua ira, ó Deus.
¿Escaparán ellos por la iniquidad? Oh Dios, derriba en tu furor los pueblos.
Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.

Tu contaste as minhas vagueações e colocaste minhas lágrimas em Teu odre; não estão elas no Teu livro?
Mis huídas has tú contado: pon mis lágrimas en tu redoma: ¿no están ellas en tu libro?
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
You count my wanderings. You put my tears into your container. Aren’t they in your book?
Meus inimigos retrocederão no dia em que eu Te invocar; isto eu sei: que Yahweh é por mim.
Serán luego vueltos atrás mis enemigos el día que yo clamare: en esto conozco que Dios es por mí.
When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this: that God is for me.

em Deus eu ponho a minha confiança e não temerei; o que poderia me fazer um simples homem?
En Dios he confiado: no temeré lo que me hará el hombre.
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Tenho o dever de cumprir os votos que fiz, ó Deus; a Ti oferecerei ações de graças.
Sobre mí, oh Dios, están tus votos: te tributaré alabanzas.

Pois Tu resgataste minha vida da morte; Tu guardaste meus pés da queda, para que eu ande diante de Deus na luz dos vivos.
