Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.
Be merciful to me, God, for man wants to swallow me up. All day long, he attacks and oppresses me.
Me persiguen todo el tiempo, y son muchos, me atacan con su altivez.
Apúranme mis enemigos cada día; porque muchos son los que pelean contra mí, oh Altísimo.
Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.
My enemies want to swallow me up all day long, for they are many who fight proudly against me.
Pero cuando tengo miedo, confío en ti.
En el día que temo, yo en ti confío.
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.
Agradezco a Dios por sus promesas. Confío en Dios, así que, ¿Por qué debería temer? ¿Qué pueden hacerme los simples seres humanos?
En Dios alabaré su palabra: en Dios he confiado, no temeré lo que la carne me hiciere.
In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?
Constantemente cambian mis palabras en mi contra; pasan todo el día pensando en qué cosas malas pueden hacerme.
Todos los días me contristan mis negocios; contra mí son todos sus pensamientos para mal.
Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.
All day long they twist my words. All their thoughts are against me for evil.
Se reúnen en sus escondites para espiarme, esperando a matarme.
Reúnense, escóndense, miran ellos atentamente mis pasos, esperando mi vida.
They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
They conspire and lurk, watching my steps. They are eager to take my life.
¿Escaparán cuando hayan hecho mucho mal? Dios, ¡Derriba a esta gente con furia!
¿Escaparán ellos por la iniquidad? Oh Dios, derriba en tu furor los pueblos.
Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.
Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, God.
Has mantenido la pista de todas mis andanzas. Has recogido todas mis lágrimas en tu botella. Has mantenido un registro de cada una.
Mis huídas has tú contado: pon mis lágrimas en tu redoma: ¿no están ellas en tu libro?
Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?
You count my wanderings. You put my tears into your container. Aren’t they in your book?
Entonces todos aquellos que me odian huirán cuando clame a ti pidiendo ayuda. Porque esto sé: ¡Dios siempre está para mí!
Serán luego vueltos atrás mis enemigos el día que yo clamare: en esto conozco que Dios es por mí.
When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.
Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this: that God is for me.
Agradezco a Dios por sus promesas. Agradezco al Señor por sus promesas.
En Dios alabaré su palabra; en Jehová alabaré su palabra.

Confío en el Señor, así que, ¿Por qué debería temer? ¿Qué pueden los simples humanos hacerme?
En Dios he confiado: no temeré lo que me hará el hombre.
In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
I have put my trust in God. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
Dios, mantendré mis promesas. Te daré ofrendas de agradecimiento,
Sobre mí, oh Dios, están tus votos: te tributaré alabanzas.
Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.
Your vows are on me, God. I will give thank offerings to you.
porque me has salvado de la muerte y me has sostenido para que no caiga. Ahora camino en la presencia de Dios, en la luz que da vida.
Porque has librado mi vida de la muerte, y mis pies de caída, para que ande delante de Dios en la luz de los que viven.
For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?
