Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.
Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me.
Líbrame de los que hacen el mal. Sálvame de los hombres asesinos.
Líbrame de los que obran iniquidad, y sálvame de hombres sanguinarios.
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity. Save me from the bloodthirsty men.
Porque, mira, acechan mi vida. Hombres violentos se reúnen contra mí, no por mi desobediencia ni por mi pecado, Yahvé.
Porque he aquí están acechando mi vida: hanse juntado contra mí fuertes, no por falta mía, ni pecado mío, oh Jehová.
For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.

Sin que yo tenga la culpa, se preparan para atacarme. ¡Levántate, mira y ven en mi ayuda!
Sin delito mío corren y se aperciben: despierta para venir á mi encuentro, y mira.
They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.
I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Rise up, behold, and help me!
Tú, Yahvé, Dios de los Ejércitos, el Dios de Israel, despierta para castigar a las naciones. No le tengas compasión a los malvados traidores. Selah.
Y tú, Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, despierta para visitar todas las gentes: no hayas misericordia de todos los que se rebelan con iniquidad. (Selah.)
Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

Regresan al atardecer, aúllan como perros, y rondan por la ciudad.
Volveránse á la tarde, ladrarán como perros, y rodearán la ciudad.
They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
They return at evening, howling like dogs, and prowl around the city.
Mira cómo echan amenazas por la boca. Sus palabras son como espadas afiladas, y dicen: “¿Quién va a escucharnos?”
He aquí proferirán con su boca; cuchillos están en sus labios, porque dicen: ¿Quién oye?
Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
Behold, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips, “For”, they say, “who hears us?”
Pero tú, Yahvé, te ríes de ellos. Te burlas de todas las naciones.
Mas tú, Jehová, te reirás de ellos, te burlarás de todas las gentes.
But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
But you, LORD, laugh at them. You scoff at all the nations.
Oh fuerza mía, a ti acudo, porque Dios es mi refugio seguro.
De su fuerza esperaré yo en ti: porque Dios es mi defensa.
Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
Oh, my Strength, I watch for you, for God is my high tower.
Mi Dios irá delante de mí con su gran amor. Dios me permitirá ver derrotados a mis enemigos.
El Dios de mi misericordia me prevendrá: Dios me hará ver en mis enemigos mi deseo.
The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
My God will go before me with his loving kindness. God will let me look at my enemies in triumph.
No los mates, no sea que mi pueblo se olvide. Dispérsalos con tu poder y derríbalos, Señor, escudo nuestro.

Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

Por el pecado de su boca y las palabras de sus labios, que queden atrapados en su orgullo, por las maldiciones y mentiras que dicen.

For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

Destrúyelos en tu enojo. Acábalos y ya no existirán. Hazles saber que Dios gobierna en Jacob, hasta los confines de la tierra. Selah.

Pero yo cantaré de tu poder. Sí, cantaré con gozo de tu gran amor por la mañana. Porque tú has sido mi refugio seguro, un asilo en mis tiempos de angustia.
Yo empero cantaré tu fortaleza, y loaré de mañana tu misericordia: porque has sido mi amparo y refugio en el día de mi angustia.
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.
A ti, mi fuerza, te cantaré alabanzas. Porque Dios es mi refugio seguro, el Dios que me muestra su gran amor.
