For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.

Denn siehe, sie trachten mir nach dem Leben; Starke rotten sich gegen mich zusammen ohne mein Verschulden, o HERR, und ohne daß ich gefehlt.
Sin delito mío corren y se aperciben: despierta para venir á mi encuentro, y mira.
They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.
I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Rise up, behold, and help me!
Gegen einen Schuldlosen stürmen sie an und stellen sich auf: erwache, komm mir zu Hilfe und sieh darein!
Y tú, Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, despierta para visitar todas las gentes: no hayas misericordia de todos los que se rebelan con iniquidad. (Selah.)
Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
They return at evening, howling like dogs, and prowl around the city.
Jeden Abend kommen sie wieder, heulen wie Hunde und streifen umher in der Stadt.
He aquí proferirán con su boca; cuchillos están en sus labios, porque dicen: ¿Quién oye?
Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
Behold, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips, “For”, they say, “who hears us?”
Siehe, sie geifern mit ihrem Munde, Schwerter stecken in ihren Lippen, denn (sie denken): »Wer hört es?«
Mas tú, Jehová, te reirás de ellos, te burlarás de todas las gentes.
But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
But you, LORD, laugh at them. You scoff at all the nations.
Doch du, o HERR, du lachest ihrer, spottest aller Heiden.
De su fuerza esperaré yo en ti: porque Dios es mi defensa.
Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
Oh, my Strength, I watch for you, for God is my high tower.
Meine Stärke, deiner will ich harren, denn Gott ist meine feste Burg.
El Dios de mi misericordia me prevendrá: Dios me hará ver en mis enemigos mi deseo.
The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
My God will go before me with his loving kindness. God will let me look at my enemies in triumph.
Mein Gott kommt mir entgegen mit seiner Gnade; Gott läßt meine Lust mich sehn an meinen Feinden.

Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

Töte sie nicht, daß mein Volk sie nicht vergesse! Treibe sie in die Irre durch deine Macht und stürze sie nieder, du, unser Schild, o Allherr!
Por el pecado de su boca, por la palabra de sus labios; y sean presos por su soberbia, y por la maldición y mentira que profieren.

sie schweifen umher nach Fraß und knurren, sind sie nicht satt geworden.
Yo empero cantaré tu fortaleza, y loaré de mañana tu misericordia: porque has sido mi amparo y refugio en el día de mi angustia.
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

Ich aber will deine Stärke besingen und am Morgen ob deiner Gnade jubeln; denn du bist eine feste Burg für mich gewesen, eine Zuflucht zur Zeit meiner Drangsal.

Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
