Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.
Deliver me from my enemies, my God. Set me on high from those who rise up against me.
¡Rescátame de esta gente mala! ¡Sálvame de estos asesinos!
Líbrame de los que obran iniquidad, y sálvame de hombres sanguinarios.
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
Deliver me from the workers of iniquity. Save me from the bloodthirsty men.
¡Mira cómo están acostados esperando matarme! Hombres poderosos están reunidos en mi contra, Señor, incluso aunque no he pecado ni he hecho nada malo.
Porque he aquí están acechando mi vida: hanse juntado contra mí fuertes, no por falta mía, ni pecado mío, oh Jehová.
For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.
For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, LORD.
Incluso aunque no soy culpable corren para prepararse para atacarme. Por favor levántate, ven y ayúdame, y ve lo que está pasando.
Sin delito mío corren y se aperciben: despierta para venir á mi encuentro, y mira.
They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.
I have done no wrong, yet they are ready to attack me. Rise up, behold, and help me!
Tú eres Dios, el Señor todopoderoso, Dios de Israel. Levántate, y castiga a todas las naciones. No tengas misericordia de esos traidores. Selah.
Y tú, Jehová Dios de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel, despierta para visitar todas las gentes: no hayas misericordia de todos los que se rebelan con iniquidad. (Selah.)
Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
You, LORD God of Armies, the God of Israel, rouse yourself to punish the nations. Show no mercy to the wicked traitors. Selah.
En el ocaso vuelven, gruñendo como perros mientras merodean por la ciudad.
Volveránse á la tarde, ladrarán como perros, y rodearán la ciudad.
They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
They return at evening, howling like dogs, and prowl around the city.
¡Escucha las necedades que salen de sus bocas! Sus palabras son cortantes como espadas. Se dicen a sí mismos: “¿Quién puede oirnos?”
He aquí proferirán con su boca; cuchillos están en sus labios, porque dicen: ¿Quién oye?
Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
Behold, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips, “For”, they say, “who hears us?”
Pero tú, Señor, te ríes de ellos; viertes desprecio sobre las naciones.
Mas tú, Jehová, te reirás de ellos, te burlarás de todas las gentes.
But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
But you, LORD, laugh at them. You scoff at all the nations.
¡Tú eres mi fuerza! Te miraré, Dios, porque eres el único que me protege.
De su fuerza esperaré yo en ti: porque Dios es mi defensa.
Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
Oh, my Strength, I watch for you, for God is my high tower.
En su gran amor, Dios vendrá y me salvará. Me mostrará cómo mis enemigos son derrotados.
El Dios de mi misericordia me prevendrá: Dios me hará ver en mis enemigos mi deseo.
The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
My God will go before me with his loving kindness. God will let me look at my enemies in triumph.
No los mates de inmediato, de lo contrario mi pueblo olvidará rápidamente lo que has hecho. Por tu poder haz que se tambaleen por ahí y luego caigan, Señor, nuestra protección.
No los matarás, porque mi pueblo no se olvide: hazlos vagar con tu fortaleza; y abátelos, oh Jehová, escudo nuestro,
Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
Don’t kill them, or my people may forget. Scatter them by your power, and bring them down, Lord our shield.
Permite que sean capturados por el mal que han hecho y las palabras que con orgullo dicen, ¡Derríbalos por sus maldiciones y mentiras!
Por el pecado de su boca, por la palabra de sus labios; y sean presos por su soberbia, y por la maldición y mentira que profieren.
For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
For the sin of their mouth, and the words of their lips, let them be caught in their pride, for the curses and lies which they utter.
¡Destrúyelos con tu ira! ¡Destrúyelos completamente! ¡Entonces todos sabrán que Dios reina en Israel!
Acábalos con furor, acábalos, y no sean: y sepan que Dios domina en Jacob hasta los fines de la tierra. (Selah.)

Anden ellos errantes para hallar qué comer: y si no se saciaren, murmuren.

Pero yo cantaré de tu fuerza; en la mañana cantaré de alegría por tu gran amor. Porque tú has sido mi protección; mi lugar seguro en tiempos de problemas.
Yo empero cantaré tu fortaleza, y loaré de mañana tu misericordia: porque has sido mi amparo y refugio en el día de mi angustia.
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
But I will sing of your strength. Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning. For you have been my high tower, a refuge in the day of my distress.
Tú eres mi fuerza, cantaré alabanzas a ti, ¡Porque tú eres el único que me protege, el Dios que me muestra su gran amor!

Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.
