(060-2) Als er gestritten hatte mit den Syrern von Mesopotamien und mit den Syrern von Zoba, und Joab zurückkehrte und die Edomiter im Salztal schlug, zwölftausend Mann. (060-3) O Gott, der du uns verstoßen und in deinem Zorn zerrissen hast, stelle uns wieder her!

O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.
God, you have rejected us. You have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us, again.
(060-4) Der du die Erde erschüttert und zerspalten hast, heile ihre Brüche; denn sie wankt.
Hiciste temblar la tierra, abrístela: sana sus quiebras, porque titubea.
Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
You have made the land tremble. You have torn it. Mend its fractures, for it quakes.
(060-5) Du hast dein Volk Schweres sehen lassen, du tränktest uns mit Taumelwein.
Has hecho ver á tu pueblo duras cosas: hicístenos beber el vino de agitación.
Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.
(060-6) Du hast denen, die dich fürchten, ein Panier gegeben, daß sie sich erheben angesichts deiner Treue. (Pause.)
Has dado á los que te temen bandera que alcen por la verdad. (Selah.)
Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.
You have given a banner to those who fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.
(060-7) Auf daß deine Geliebten errettet werden, laß siegen deine Rechte und erhöre uns!
Para que se libren tus amados, salva con tu diestra, y óyeme.
That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.
So that your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
(060-8) Gott hat gesprochen in seinem Heiligtum: «Ich will frohlocken! Ich will Sichem teilen und das Tal Suchot vermessen;
Dios pronunció por su santuario; yo me alegraré; partiré á Sichêm, y mediré el valle de Succoth.
God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: “I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
(060-9) Gilead ist mein, und Manasse ist mein, Ephraim ist meines Hauptes Wehr, Juda mein Herrscherstab;
Mío es Galaad, y mío es Manasés; y Ephraim es la fortaleza de mi cabeza; Judá, mi legislador;
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is the defense of my head. Judah is my scepter.
(060-10) Moab ist mein Waschbecken, über Edom werfe ich meinen Schuh, jauchze mir zu, Philisterland!»
Moab, la vasija de mi lavatorio; sobre Edom echaré mi zapato: haz júbilo sobre mí, oh Palestina.
Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.
Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my sandal on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia.”
(060-11) Wer führt mich in eine feste Stadt, wer geleitet mich nach Edom?
¿Quién me llevará á la ciudad fortalecida? ¿quién me llevará hasta Idumea?
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who has led me to Edom?
(060-12) Wirst du es nicht tun, o Gott, der du uns verstoßen hast? Oder solltest du, o Gott, nicht ausziehen mit unserm Heer?
Ciertamente, tú, oh Dios, que nos habías desechado; y no salías, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos.
Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.
(060-13) Schaffe uns Hilfe in der Not, denn eitel ist Menschenhilfe!
Danos socorro contra el enemigo, que vana es la salud de los hombres.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.
(060-14) Mit Gott wollen wir Taten tun; er wird unsre Feinde untertreten.
En Dios haremos proezas; y él hollará nuestros enemigos.
Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
Through God we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.
