Al Músico principal: sobre Susan-Heduth: Michtam de David, para enseñar, cuando tuvo guerra contra Aram-Naharaim y contra Aram de Soba, y volvió Joab, é hirió de Edom en el valle de las Salinas doce mil. OH Dios, tú nos has desechado, nos disipaste; te has airado: vuélvete á nosotros.
O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.
God, you have rejected us. You have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us, again.
Hiciste estremecer la tierra, y la llenaste de turbación. Cura sus llagas, porque está toda ella muy mal parada.
Hiciste temblar la tierra, abrístela: sana sus quiebras, porque titubea.
Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
You have made the land tremble. You have torn it. Mend its fractures, for it quakes.
Cosas bien duras hiciste sufrir a tu pueblo; nos hiciste beber vino de amargura.
Has hecho ver á tu pueblo duras cosas: hicístenos beber el vino de agitación.
Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.
Diste a los que te temían una señal, para que huyesen de los tiros de tu arco; a fin de que se librasen los que tú amas.
Has dado á los que te temen bandera que alcen por la verdad. (Selah.)
Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah.

Para que se libren tus amados, salva con tu diestra, y óyeme.

Habló Dios en su santuario, y tendré motivo de regocijarme; pues repartiré los campos de Siquem, y mediré el valle de los Tabernáculos.
Dios pronunció por su santuario; yo me alegraré; partiré á Sichêm, y mediré el valle de Succoth.
God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: “I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
Mío es Galaad, mío es Manasés, y Efraín mi principal fuerza.
Mío es Galaad, y mío es Manasés; y Ephraim es la fortaleza de mi cabeza; Judá, mi legislador;
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is the defense of my head. Judah is my scepter.
Judá es mi rey; Moab es un vaso de mi esperanza, o un país que adquiriré. Sujetaré la Idumea a mi imperio, se me someterán los extranjeros.
Moab, la vasija de mi lavatorio; sobre Edom echaré mi zapato: haz júbilo sobre mí, oh Palestina.
Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.
Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my sandal on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia.”
¿Quién me conducirá a la ciudad fuerte? ¿Quién me conducirá hasta la Idumea?
¿Quién me llevará á la ciudad fortalecida? ¿quién me llevará hasta Idumea?
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who has led me to Edom?
¿Quién sino tú, ¡oh Dios!, que nos habías desamparado? ¿No vendrás tú, Señor, a la cabeza de nuestros ejércitos?
Ciertamente, tú, oh Dios, que nos habías desechado; y no salías, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos.
Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.
Danos tu socorro en la tribulación, porque vana es la salvación que viene del hombre.
Danos socorro contra el enemigo, que vana es la salud de los hombres.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.
Con Dios haremos proezas y él aniquilará a nuestros enemigos.
En Dios haremos proezas; y él hollará nuestros enemigos.
Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
