O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.
God, you have rejected us. You have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us, again.
à l’occasion de sa guerre avec les Syriens de Çoba, lorsque Joab, à son retour, défit Edom dans la vallée du Sel, lui tuant douze mille hommes.
Hiciste temblar la tierra, abrístela: sana sus quiebras, porque titubea.
Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.
You have made the land tremble. You have torn it. Mend its fractures, for it quakes.
O Dieu, tu nous as délaissés, tu as fait brèche parmi nous, tu t’es irrité: puisses-tu réparer nos pertes!

Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.
You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.
Tu as fait trembler le pays, tu y as ouvert des crevasses; restaure ses ruines, car il vacille.
Has dado á los que te temen bandera que alcen por la verdad. (Selah.)

Tu en as fait voir de dures à ton peuple, tu nous as forcés de boire un vin de vertige:
Para que se libren tus amados, salva con tu diestra, y óyeme.
That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.
So that your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
puisses-tu donner à tes adorateurs une bannière, pour s’y rallier au nom de la vérité. Sélah!
Dios pronunció por su santuario; yo me alegraré; partiré á Sichêm, y mediré el valle de Succoth.
God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: “I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
Afin que tes bien-aimés échappent au danger, secours-nous avec ta droite, et exauce-moi!
Mío es Galaad, y mío es Manasés; y Ephraim es la fortaleza de mi cabeza; Judá, mi legislador;
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

L’Eternel l’a annoncé en son sanctuaire: "Je triompherai, je veux m’adjuger Sichem, mesurer au cordeau la vallée de Souccot.
Moab, la vasija de mi lavatorio; sobre Edom echaré mi zapato: haz júbilo sobre mí, oh Palestina.
Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.
Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my sandal on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia.”
A moi Galaad! à moi Manassé! Ephraïm " est la puissante sauvegarde de ma tête, Juda est mon sceptre.
¿Quién me llevará á la ciudad fortalecida? ¿quién me llevará hasta Idumea?
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who has led me to Edom?
Moab est le bassin où je me lave; sur Edom, " je jette ma sandale. Chante donc victoire contre moi, pays des Philistins !
Ciertamente, tú, oh Dios, que nos habías desechado; y no salías, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos.
Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
Haven’t you, God, rejected us? You don’t go out with our armies, God.
Qui me conduira à la ville forte? Qui saura me mener jusqu'à Edom?
Danos socorro contra el enemigo, que vana es la salud de los hombres.
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.
Ne sera-ce pas toi, ô Dieu, toi qui nous avais délaissés, qui ne faisais plus campagne avec nos armées?
En Dios haremos proezas; y él hollará nuestros enemigos.
Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
Through God we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.
Prête-nous secours contre l'adversaire, puisque trompeuse est l'aide de l'homme.
