Mesmo estando tão longe, nos confins da terra, pedirei a sua ajuda, com o meu coração abatido e fraco; leve-me para o lugar seguro e protegido que não posso alcançar sozinho.

O Senhor é a minha fortaleza segura, uma torre forte contra o inimigo.
Porque tú has sido mi refugio, y torre de fortaleza delante del enemigo.
For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
Viverei para sempre na sua presença e sempre procurarei abrigo debaixo das suas asas.
Yo habitaré en tu tabernáculo para siempre: estaré seguro bajo la cubierta de tus alas.

Ó Deus, o Senhor ouviu as minhas promessas e me deu a herança guardada para quem o ama e respeita.
Porque tú, oh Dios, has oído mis votos, has dado heredad á los que temen tu nombre.
For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
Dê vida longa ao rei; que viva por muitas gerações!
Días sobre días añadirás al rey: sus años serán como generación y generación.
Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: and his years as many generations.
You will prolong the king’s life. His years will be for generations.
Que ele viva bem perto do Senhor para sempre. Que ele seja guardado pelo amor e pela fidelidade de Deus.
Estará para siempre delante de Dios: misericordia y verdad prepara que lo conserven.
He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.
He shall be enthroned in God’s presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
Então cantarei hinos ao Senhor durante toda a minha vida, dia após dia, para cumprir as promessas que fiz a ele.
Así cantaré tu nombre para siempre, pagando mis votos cada día.
So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
