Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

(062-3) Nur er ist mein Fels und mein Heil, meine hohe Burg; ich werde nicht allzusehr wanken.
El solamente es mi fuerte, y mi salud; es mi refugio, no resbalaré mucho.
He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
(062-4) Wie lange laufet ihr alle Sturm gegen einen Mann und wollt ihn zertrümmern wie eine hangende Wand, eine sinkende Mauer?
¿Hasta cuándo maquinaréis contra un hombre? Pereceréis todos vosotros, caeréis como pared acostada, como cerca ruinosa.
How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.
How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down, like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
(062-5) Nur von seiner Höhe planen sie ihn herabzustoßen; sie haben Wohlgefallen an Lüge; mit ihrem Munde segnen sie, aber im Herzen fluchen sie. (Pause.)
Solamente consultan de arrojarle de su grandeza; aman la mentira, con su boca bendicen, pero maldicen en sus entrañas. (Selah.)

Alma mía, en Dios solamente reposa; porque de él es mi esperanza.

(062-8) Auf Gott ruht mein Heil und meine Ehre; der Fels meiner Stärke, meine Zuflucht ist in Gott.

(062-9) Vertraue auf ihn allezeit, o Volk, schütte dein Herz vor ihm aus! Gott ist unsre Zuflucht.

(062-10) Nur ein Hauch sind die Menschenkinder, große Herren trügen auch, auf der Waage steigen sie empor, sind alle leichter als ein Hauch!
Por cierto, vanidad son los hijos de los hombres, mentira los hijos de varón: pesándolos á todos igualmente en la balanza, serán menos que la vanidad.
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

(062-11) Verlasset euch nicht auf erpreßtes Gut und auf geraubtes seid nicht stolz; nimmt das Vermögen zu, so setzet euer Vertrauen nicht darauf!

(062-12) Einmal hat Gott geredet, zweimal habe ich das gehört, daß die Macht Gottes sei.

(062-13) Dein, o Herr, ist aber auch die Gnade; denn du bezahlst einem jeden nach seinem Tun!
Y de ti, oh Señor, es la misericordia: porque tú pagas á cada uno conforme á su obra.
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
