Salmo de David, estando en el desierto de Judá. DIOS, Dios mío eres tú: levantaréme á ti de mañana: mi alma tiene sed de ti, mi carne te desea, en tierra de sequedad y transida sin aguas;
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
Te veo en el Templo. Contemplo tu poder y tu gloria.
Para ver tu fortaleza y tu gloria, así como te he mirado en el santuario.
To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.
Tu fidelidad y amor son mejores que la vida misma. Por ello te alabaré.
Porque mejor es tu misericordia que la vida: mis labios te alabarán.

Paso la noche entera pensando en ti desde que me acuesto, meditando sobre ti.

When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Porque eres quien me ayuda, canto feliz bajo tus alas.

Morirán a punta de espada y serán alimento para los chacales.
Destruiránlos á filo de espada; serán porción de las zorras.

Pero el rey vivirá feliz por todo lo que Dios ha hecho. Todos los que siguen a Dios le alabarán, pero los que mienten serán silenciados.
Empero el rey se alegrará en Dios; será alabado cualquiera que por él jura: porque la boca de los que hablan mentira, será cerrada.
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
