Escóndeme de la conspiración de los malvados, de la intrigas de perversos.
Escóndeme del secreto consejo de los malignos; de la conspiración de los que obran iniquidad:
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
Afilan sus lenguas como espadas; lanzan como flechas sus palabras amargas.
Que amolaron su lengua como cuchillo, y armaron por su saeta palabra amarga;
Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,
Desde su emboscada tiran contra el inocente. Lo hacen sin aviso, y no tienen temor.
Para asaetear á escondidas al íntegro: de improviso lo asaetean, y no temen.
That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.
Unos a otros se animan a cometer el mal. Planean cómo poner sus trampas. «Aquí jamás las descubrirá», dicen.
Obstinados en su inicuo designio, tratan de esconder los lazos, y dicen: ¿Quién los ha de ver?
They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, “Who will see them?”
Maquinan sus perversidades, y dicen: «Hemos tramado el plan perfecto». ¡Sí, los pensamientos y el corazón humano no se pueden comprender!
Inquieren iniquidades, hacen una investigación exacta; y el íntimo pensamiento de cada uno de ellos, así como el corazón, es profundo.
They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
They plot injustice, saying, “We have made a perfect plan!” Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning.
Pero Dios mismo les disparará y caerán. Sin aviso las flechas los herirán.
Mas Dios los herirá con saeta; de repente serán sus plagas.
But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.
Sus propias palabras se volverán contra ellos y los destruirán. Cuantos los vean se burlarán de ellos.
Y harán caer sobre sí sus mismas lenguas: se espantarán todos los que los vieren.
So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.
Entonces todos sentirán temor, proclamarán las poderosas obras de Dios; por fin reconocerán las admirables cosas que él hace.
Y temerán todos los hombres, y anunciarán la obra de Dios, y entenderán su hecho.
And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
All mankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
Y los justos se regocijarán en el Señor, y encontrarán refugio en él. Y los de recto corazón lo alabarán.
Alegraráse el justo en Jehová, y confiaráse en él; y se gloriarán todos los rectos de corazón.
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him!
