Dem Vorsänger. Ein Psalm Davids. (064-2) O Gott, höre meine Stimme, wenn ich seufze; behüte meine Seele, wenn der Feind mich schreckt!
Al Músico principal: Salmo de David. ESCUCHA, oh Dios, mi voz en mi oración: guarda mi vida del miedo del enemigo.
Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
Hear my voice, God, in my complaint. Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
(064-3) Verbirg mich vor den geheimen Plänen der Bösewichter, vor der Rotte der Übeltäter,
Escóndeme del secreto consejo de los malignos; de la conspiración de los que obran iniquidad:
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the noisy crowd of the ones doing evil;
(064-4) deren Zungen so scharf sind wie Schwerter und die ihren Pfeil anlegen, ein bitteres Wort,
Que amolaron su lengua como cuchillo, y armaron por su saeta palabra amarga;
Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and aim their arrows, deadly words,
(064-5) um damit heimlich den Unschuldigen zu treffen, plötzlich auf ihn zu schießen ohne Scheu.
Para asaetear á escondidas al íntegro: de improviso lo asaetean, y no temen.
That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
to shoot innocent men from ambushes. They shoot at him suddenly and fearlessly.
(064-6) Sie nehmen sich böse Sachen vor, verabreden sich, Schlingen zu legen, sagen: «Wer wird sie sehen?»
Obstinados en su inicuo designio, tratan de esconder los lazos, y dicen: ¿Quién los ha de ver?
They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
They encourage themselves in evil plans. They talk about laying snares secretly. They say, “Who will see them?”
(064-7) Sie ersinnen Tücken: «Wir sind fertig, halten unsern Plan geheim!» Eines jeden Inneres und sein Herz sind unerforschlich!
Inquieren iniquidades, hacen una investigación exacta; y el íntimo pensamiento de cada uno de ellos, así como el corazón, es profundo.
They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
They plot injustice, saying, “We have made a perfect plan!” Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning.
(064-8) Aber Gott hat sie schon getroffen mit dem Pfeil; urplötzlich fühlten sie sich verwundet.
Mas Dios los herirá con saeta; de repente serán sus plagas.
But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
But God will shoot at them. They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow.
(064-9) Und zwar hat ihre eigene Zunge sie zu Fall gebracht, so daß sich jedermann entsetzt, der sie sieht.
Y harán caer sobre sí sus mismas lenguas: se espantarán todos los que los vieren.
So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
Their own tongues shall ruin them. All who see them will shake their heads.
(064-10) Da fürchten sich alle Leute und bekennen: «Das hat Gott getan!» und erkennen, daß es sein Werk ist.
Y temerán todos los hombres, y anunciarán la obra de Dios, y entenderán su hecho.
And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
All mankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.
(064-11) Der Gerechte freut sich im HERRN und nimmt seine Zuflucht zu ihm, und alle aufrichtigen Herzen preisen sich glücklich.
Alegraráse el justo en Jehová, y confiaráse en él; y se gloriarán todos los rectos de corazón.
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him!
