Tu as fait monter l'homme mortel sur nos têtes ; Nous avons passé par le feu et par l'eau ; Mais tu nous as mis au large et dans l'abondance.

Hombres hiciste subir sobre nuestra cabeza; entramos en fuego y en aguas, y sacástenos á hartura.

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance.
