Tu avevi fatto cavalcar gli uomini in sul nostro capo; Eravamo entrati nel fuoco e nell'acqua; Ma tu ci hai tratti fuori in luogo di refrigerio.

Hombres hiciste subir sobre nuestra cabeza; entramos en fuego y en aguas, y sacástenos á hartura.

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.
