Du ließest den Menschen reiten über unser Haupt, wir kamen ins Feuer und ins Wasser; doch hast Du uns herausgeführt ins Weite.

Hombres hiciste subir sobre nuestra cabeza; entramos en fuego y en aguas, y sacástenos á hartura.

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance.
