Io sono affondato in un profondo pantano, Ove non vi è luogo da fermare il piè; Io son giunto alle profondità dell'acqua, e la corrente m'inonda.

Estoy hundido en cieno profundo, donde no hay pie: he venido á abismos de aguas, y la corriente me ha anegado.
