Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul.

Me hundo en el fango profundo, donde no hay dónde apoyarse. He llegado a aguas profundas, donde la corriente me arrastra.
Estoy hundido en cieno profundo, donde no hay pie: he venido á abismos de aguas, y la corriente me ha anegado.
I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

Estoy cansado de tanto llorar. Tengo la garganta reseca. Mis ojos se cansan de tanto esperar a mi Dios.
Cansado estoy de llamar; mi garganta se ha enronquecido; han desfallecido mis ojos esperando á mi Dios.
I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

Los que me odian sin motivo son más que los cabellos de mi cabeza. Son muy poderosos mis enemigos, los que injustamente quieren destruirme. ¡Me exigen devolver lo que no he robado!
Hanse aumentado más que los cabellos de mi cabeza los que me aborrecen sin causa; hanse fortalecido mis enemigos, los que me destruyen sin por qué: he venido pues á pagar lo que no he tomado.
They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.
Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn’t take away.
Oh Dios, tú conoces mi insensatez. Mis pecados no te están ocultos.
Dios, tú sabes mi locura; y mis delitos no te son ocultos.
O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
God, you know my foolishness. My sins aren’t hidden from you.
No permitas que pasen vergüenza por mi culpa los que esperan en ti, Señor, Yahvé de los Ejércitos. No dejes que sean deshonrados por mi culpa los que te buscan, oh Dios de Israel.
No sean avergonzados por mi causa los que te esperan, oh Señor Jehová de los ejércitos; no sean confusos por mí los que te buscan, oh Dios de Israel.
Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
Don’t let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord GOD of Armies. Don’t let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.
Porque por tu causa he soportado insultos. La vergüenza me ha cubierto la cara.
Porque por amor de ti he sufrido afrenta; confusión ha cubierto mi rostro.
Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.
Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.
Me he vuelto un extraño para mis propios hermanos, un desconocido para los hijos de mi madre.
He sido extrañado de mis hermanos, y extraño á los hijos de mi madre.
I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children.

Porque el celo por tu casa me consume. Los insultos de los que te ofenden han caído sobre mí.

For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.
For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
Lloré y afligí mi vida con ayuno, pero eso solo me trajo más burlas.
Y lloré afligiendo con ayuno mi alma; y esto me ha sido por afrenta.
When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

Cuando me vestí con ropa de luto, me convertí en su hazmerreír.
Puse además saco por mi vestido; y vine á serles por proverbio.
I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

Los que se sientan en la plaza hablan mal de mí. Soy la canción de burla de los borrachos.
Hablaban contra mí los que se sentaban á la puerta, y me zaherían en las canciones de los bebedores de sidra.
They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.
Those who sit in the gate talk about me. I am the song of the drunkards.
Pero yo te dirijo mi oración, Yahvé, en el momento oportuno. Oh Dios, por tu inmenso y gran amor, respóndeme con la verdad de tu salvación.
Empero yo enderezaba mi oración á ti, oh Jehová, al tiempo de tu buena voluntad: oh Dios, por la multitud de tu misericordia, por la verdad de tu salud, óyeme.
But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.
But as for me, my prayer is to you, LORD, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
Sácame del fango y no dejes que me hunda. Líbrame de los que me odian y de las aguas profundas.
Sácame del lodo, y no sea yo sumergido: sea yo libertado de los que me aborrecen, y del profundo de las aguas.
Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

No dejes que me arrastre la corriente, ni que me trague el abismo. No dejes que el pozo cierre su boca sobre mí.
No me anegue el ímpetu de las aguas, ni me suerba la hondura, ni el pozo cierre sobre mí su boca.
Let not the waterflood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

Respóndeme, Yahvé, porque tu gran amor es reconfortante. Mírame por tu inmensa compasión.
Oyeme, Jehová, porque apacible es tu misericordia; mírame conforme á la multitud de tus miseraciones.
Hear me, O LORD; for thy lovingkindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.
Answer me, LORD, for your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.
No le escondas tu rostro a tu siervo, porque estoy en gran angustia. ¡Respóndeme pronto!

And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

Acércate a mi vida y rescátala. Líbrame por causa de mis enemigos.

Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it: deliver me because of mine enemies.

Tú conoces mis insultos, mi vergüenza y mi deshonra. Tienes a todos mis enemigos a la vista.
Tú sabes mi afrenta, y mi confusión, y mi oprobio: delante de ti están todos mis enemigos.
Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonour: mine adversaries are all before thee.

Las burlas me han roto el corazón y estoy lleno de tristeza. Busqué a alguien que se compadeciera de mí, y no hubo nadie; busqué quien me consolara, y no encontré a ninguno.
La afrenta ha quebrantado mi corazón, y estoy acongojado: y esperé quien se compadeciese de mí, y no lo hubo: y consoladores, y ninguno hallé.
Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none.

En mi comida me pusieron veneno. Y cuando tuve sed, me dieron a beber vinagre.
Pusiéronme además hiel por comida, y en mi sed me dieron á beber vinagre.
They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

Que la mesa en la que comen se convierta en una trampa. Que se convierta en un tropiezo y en su propio castigo.
Sea su mesa delante de ellos por lazo, y lo que es para bien por tropiezo.
Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap.
Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.
Que se les oscurezcan los ojos para que no puedan ver. Haz que sus espaldas se doblen para siempre.
Sean oscurecidos sus ojos para ver, y haz siempre titubear sus lomos.
Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

Derrama tu enojo sobre ellos. Que el fuego de tu ira los alcance.

Que su hogar quede desolado. Que no quede nadie viviendo en sus tiendas.

Porque persiguen al que tú ya has herido. Y se burlan del dolor de los que tú has lastimado.

For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.

Añade culpa a su culpa. No permitas que alcancen tu justicia.
Pon maldad sobre su maldad, y no entren en tu justicia.
Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
Charge them with crime upon crime. Don’t let them come into your righteousness.
Que sean borrados del libro de la vida, y que no sean anotados junto a los justos.
Sean raídos del libro de los vivientes, y no sean escritos con los justos.
Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

Pero yo estoy afligido y adolorido. Que tu salvación, oh Dios, me proteja y me ponga en alto.

But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

Alabaré el nombre de Dios con cantos, y lo exaltaré con profunda gratitud.

Esto le agradará a Yahvé más que sacrificar un buey, o un toro con cuernos y pezuñas.
Y agradará á Jehová más que sacrificio de buey, ó becerro que echa cuernos y uñas.
This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.
It will please the LORD better than an ox, or a bull that has horns and hoofs.
Los humildes verán esto y se alegrarán. Todos ustedes que buscan a Dios, ¡que su corazón cobre vida!
Veránlo los humildes, y se gozarán; buscad á Dios, y vivirá vuestro corazón.
The humble shall see this, and be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.
The humble have seen it, and are glad. You who seek after God, let your heart live.
Porque Yahvé escucha a los necesitados, y no desprecia a su pueblo prisionero.
Porque Jehová oye á los menesterosos, y no menosprecia á sus prisioneros.
For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

¡Que lo alaben el cielo y la tierra, los mares y todo lo que se mueve en ellos!

Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.

Porque Dios salvará a Sión y reconstruirá las ciudades de Judá. Su pueblo vivirá allí y la poseerá.
