Aqueles que me odeiam sem razão são mais do que os cabelos da minha cabeça; aqueles que querem me eliminar, sendo meus inimigos pelos motivos errados, são poderosos; tenho que devolver o que não roubei.
Hanse aumentado más que los cabellos de mi cabeza los que me aborrecen sin causa; hanse fortalecido mis enemigos, los que me destruyen sin por qué: he venido pues á pagar lo que no he tomado.

Deus, Tu conheces minha insensatez, e meus pecados não Te são ocultos.
Dios, tú sabes mi locura; y mis delitos no te son ocultos.
O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.
God, you know my foolishness. My sins aren’t hidden from you.
Que aqueles que esperam em Ti não sejam envergonhados por minha causa, Senhor, Yahweh dos Exércitos; que aqueles que Te buscam não sejam postos em desonra por minha causa, Deus de Israel.
No sean avergonzados por mi causa los que te esperan, oh Señor Jehová de los ejércitos; no sean confusos por mí los que te buscan, oh Dios de Israel.
Let not them that wait on thee, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.
Don’t let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord GOD of Armies. Don’t let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.
Por causa de Ti eu tenho suportado repreensões; a vergonha tem coberto minha face.

Pois o zelo de Tua casa me consome, e os insultos dos que Te insultam têm caído sobre mim.

For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

Mas quanto a mim, minha oração é para Ti, Yahweh. No tempo em que a aceitares, ó Deus, pela grandeza da Tua misericórdia, responde-me na fidelidade da Tua salvação.
Empero yo enderezaba mi oración á ti, oh Jehová, al tiempo de tu buena voluntad: oh Dios, por la multitud de tu misericordia, por la verdad de tu salud, óyeme.
But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

Tira-me da lama, não me deixes afundar; que eu seja liberto daqueles que me odeiam e resgatado das águas profundas.

A repreensão tem partido meu coração, eu estou cheio do peso da angústia. Procurei alguém que tivesse compaixão, mas não havia ninguém; procurei por consoladores, mas não encontrei nenhum.
La afrenta ha quebrantado mi corazón, y estoy acongojado: y esperé quien se compadeciese de mí, y no lo hubo: y consoladores, y ninguno hallé.

Que seus olhos sejam escurecidos para que não possam ver; e faze com que os lombos deles tremam constantemente.

Derrama Tua indignação sobre eles, e que a fúria de Tua vingança os ataque.

Os mansos verão isso e ficarão alegres; vós que buscais a Deus, revivam os vossos corações.

Pois Yahweh ouve os necessitados e não despreza Seus prisioneiros.
