1Dem Vorsänger. Von David, zum Gedächtnis. Eile, Gott, mich zu erretten, Jehova, zu meiner Hilfe!
2Laß beschämt und mit Scham bedeckt werden, die nach meinem Leben trachten! Laß zurückweichen und zu Schanden werden, die Gefallen haben an meinem Unglück!
3Laß umkehren ob ihrer Schande, die da sagen: Haha! Haha!
4Laß fröhlich sein und in dir sich freuen alle, die dich suchen! Und die deine Rettung lieben, laß stets sagen: Erhoben sei Gott!
5Ich aber bin elend und arm; o Gott, eile zu mir! Meine Hilfe und mein Erretter bist du; Jehova, zögere nicht!

2Sean avergonzados y confusos los que buscan mi vida; sean vueltos atrás y avergonzados los que mi mal desean.
3Sean vueltos, en pago de su afrenta hecha, los que dicen: ¡Ah! ¡ah!
4Gócense y alégrense en ti todos los que te buscan; y digan siempre los que aman tu salud: Engrandecido sea Dios.
5Yo estoy afligido y menesteroso; apresúrate á mí, oh Dios: ayuda mía y mi libertador eres tú; oh Jehová, no te detengas.

1Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.
2Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
World English Bible
1Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, LORD.
2Let them be disappointed and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
3Let them be turned because of their shame who say, “Aha! Aha!”
4Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, “Let God be exalted!”
5But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer. LORD, don’t delay.
