Masquil de Asaph. ¿POR qué, oh Dios, nos has desechado para siempre? ¿por qué ha humeado tu furor contra las ovejas de tu dehesa?
O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?
Gedenk an deine Gemeine, die du vor alters erworben und dir zum Erbteil erloset hast, an den Berg Zion, da du auf wohnest.
Acuérdate de tu congregación, que adquiriste de antiguo, cuando redimiste la vara de tu heredad; este monte de Sión, donde has habitado.
Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance: Mount Zion, in which you have lived.
Tritt auf sie mit Fußen und stoße sie gar zu Boden. Der Feind hat alles verderbet im Heiligtum.
Levanta tus pies á los asolamientos eternos: á todo enemigo que ha hecho mal en el santuario.
Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.

Tus enemigos han bramado en medio de tus sinagogas: han puesto sus divisas por señas.
Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
Your adversaries have roared in the middle of your assembly. They have set up their standards as signs.
Man siehet die Axte oben her blicken, wie man in einen Wald hauet,
Cualquiera se hacía famoso según que había levantado el hacha sobre los gruesos maderos.
A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
They behaved like men wielding axes, cutting through a thicket of trees.
und zerhauen alle seine Tafelwerke mit Beil und Barten.
Y ahora con hachas y martillos han quebrado todas sus entalladuras.
But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
Now they break all its carved work down with hatchet and hammers.
Sie verbrennen dein Heiligtum, sie entweihen die Wohnung deines Namens zu Boden.
Han puesto á fuego tus santuarios, han profanado el tabernáculo de tu nombre echándolo á tierra.
They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.
They have burned your sanctuary to the ground. They have profaned the dwelling place of your Name.
Sie sprechen in ihrem Herzen: Lal Jt uns sie plundern! Sie verbrennen alle Hauser Gottes im Lande.
Dijeron en su corazón: Destruyámoslos de una vez; han quemado todas las sinagogas de Dios en la tierra.
They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.

Unsere Zeichen sehen wir nicht, und kein Prophet predigt mehr, und kein Lehrer lehret uns mehr.
No vemos ya nuestras señales: no hay más profeta; ni con nosotros hay quien sepa hasta cuándo.
We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.

Ach, Gott, wie lange soil der Widerwartige schmahen und der Feind deinen Namen so gar verlastern?
¿Hasta cuándo, oh Dios, el angustiador nos afrentará? ¿ha de blasfemar el enemigo perpetuamente tu nombre?
O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
You divided the sea by your strength. You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.
Du zerschlagst die Kopfe der Walfische und gibst sie zur Speise dem Volk in der Einode.
Tú magullaste las cabezas del leviathán; dístelo por comida al pueblo de los desiertos.
Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
You broke the heads of Leviathan in pieces. You gave him as food to people and desert creatures.
Du lassest quellen Brunnen und Bache; du lassest versiegen starke Strome.
Tú abriste fuente y río; tú secaste ríos impetuosos.
Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
You opened up spring and stream. You dried up mighty rivers.
Tag und Nacht ist dein; du machest, dafi beide Sonn und Gestirn ihren gewissen Lauf haben.
Tuyo es el día, tuya también es la noche: tú aparejaste la luna y el sol.
The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

Du setzest einem jeglichen Lande seine Grenze; Sommer und Winter machest du.

So gedenke doch des, daß der Feind den HERRN schmahet, und ein toricht Volk lasted deinen Namen.

No entregues á las bestias el alma de tu tórtola: y no olvides para siempre la congregación de tus afligidos.
O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.

Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
